Chorus giganteus is a species ofsea snail in the familyMuricidae. It isendemic to the coast ofChile, where it occurs fromAntofagasta (23° S) to the south of the country (around39° S) at depths of 8–30 metres (26–98 ft).[2] It is abenthicpredator that lives on rocks in temperate waters. It has beenoverexploited by local fishermen in much of its range.[2]
