TheChablais Alps (French:Massif du Chablais,pronounced[masifdyʃablɛ]) are amountain range in theWestern Alps. They are situated betweenLake Geneva and theMont Blanc Massif.[1] TheCol des Montets separates them from theMont Blanc Massif in the south, and theRhône valley separates them from theBernese Alps in the east.
The Chablais Alps are composed of two distinct parts separated by theVal d'Illiez: theDents du Midi massif on the south which contains the highest peaks, and thealpine foothills on the north.
