Recovering from the defeat atNedao in 454, the Hunnic leaderDengizich launched an invasion across theDanube with a large Hun force, but was defeated by theOstrogothic kingValamir.Jordanes writes that in turn theHuns "for ever after" left the Goths in peace.^[1]
