Arkle Beck is the stream running through the valley ofArkengarthdale in theYorkshire Dales,England. It is a tributary of theRiver Swale,[1] which it joins just pastReeth at Grinton Bridge.[2] Thebeck itself has several tributaries which include:[3]
In 1986, a section of the meadow alongside Arkle Beck atWhaw was designated as a site of special scientific interest (SSSI).[4]
