The play opened at theBridge Theatre,London on 11 July 2018, running until 29 September, directed byNicholas Hytner, designed byBob Crowley and choreographed byArlene Phillips.[1][2]

The production was captured byNational Theatre Live and was broadcast to cinemas worldwide on 1 November 2018.[3]
