4-Methylbuphedrone (also known as4-MeMABP,BZ-6378 and4-Methyl-α-methylamino-butyrophenone), is astimulantdrug of thecathinoneclass that has been sold online as adesigner drug.[1][2][3]

It was first reported to theEMCDDA in November 2011.[4]

Legal status

4-Methylbuphedrone is listed inAnlage I and therefore illegal in Germany.

As of October 2015 4-MeMABP is a controlled substance in China.[5]

In the United States 4-methylbuphedrone is considered aSchedule I controlled substance as a positional isomer of4-methylethcathinone (4-MEC).[6]
