3-Aminopropylphosphinic acid, also known in the literature as3-APPA orCGP 27492,[1] is a compound used in scientific research which acts as an agonist at theGABAB receptor. It is part of a class ofphosphinic acid GABAB agonists,[2] which also includesSKF-97,541. It has abinding affinity (pKi) to the GABAB receptor of 8.30 (i.e., ~3 nM).[3]
