The2013 season was theSt. Louis Rams' 76th in theNational Football League (NFL), their 19th inSt. Louis and their second underhead coachJeff Fisher. The Rams equaled their win total from2012, but missed the playoffs for a ninth consecutive season.

Week 7 sawSam Bradford make his final appearance in a Rams uniform, as he tore his ACL in a game against theCarolina Panthers. That same injury prevented him from playing in the2014 season, and he did not play another down in a Rams uniform as he was traded to thePhiladelphia Eagles following the 2014 season.

Not only did the Rams lose the game 15–30, but they lost two starters; defensive endChris Long was ejected after throwing a punch and quarterbackSam Bradford suffered a season-ending knee injury after running out of bounds. It would also be Sam Bradford's last game in a Rams uniform as he missed all of 2014 with the same injury to the same knee and was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015.
