The1991Pro Bowl was theNFL's 41st annualall-star game which featured the outstanding performers from the1990 season. The game was played on Sunday, February 3, 1991, atAloha Stadium inHonolulu, Hawaii before a crowd of 50,345.[1] The final score wasAFC 23,NFC 21 withMorten Andersen's field goal attempt being blocked byJeff Cross as time expired to seal an AFC victory.[2][3]

Art Shell of theLos Angeles Raiders led theAFC team against anNFC team coached bySan Francisco 49ers head coachGeorge Seifert.[4] The referee wasGordon McCarter.[1]

QuarterbackJim Kelly of theBuffalo Bills was named the game'sMost Valuable Player.[1] Players on the winning AFC team received $10,000 apiece while the NFC participants each took home $5,000.[5]
