.bh is theInternetcountry codetop-level domain (ccTLD) forBahrain. It is administered by theTelecommunications Regulatory Authority of Bahrain (TRA).

History

The .bh domain was first delegated in 1994 to theUniversity of Bahrain Computer Center. In 1999, the domain was delegated to theBahrain Telecommunications Company, which since remains the sponsoring organisation.[3]

In 2002, theTelecommunications Regulatory Authority was established, and in 2008, the Minister of Telecommunications of Bahrain assigned TRA as thegovernmental agency responsible for the management of the .bh top-level domain.[3]

On 6 December 2011, the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority commenced a request toICANN for redelegation of the “.BH” top-level domain.[3] In March 2012, this request was completed.[4]
