Information for Alumni

As an alum, you will find that your connection to Wesleyan continues well beyond graduation. Wesleyan becomes a part of you, and you become a part of Wesleyan. After graduation, that connection remains, and there are numerous resources available to help alumni connect and support one another.
Reunion 2026
Celebrating the Classes ending in “1” and “6”, all are welcome to join a special weekend on campus taking place May 22–24, 2026, commemorating the reunions of these classes. Please note that the 50th reunion Class of 1976 is invited to campus on Thursday, May 21, for pre-weekend class-specific festivities.
Weekend registration will open in March 2026.
A Lifetime of Connected Paths
At Wesleyan, we are all stronger for the endless ways our different paths converge, overlap, and impact one another. As students, we had the freedom and the challenge to make our own pathways, and we had each other. As alums we move on—belonging to and nurturing other communities—that’s the Wes way. But this community will be here when we need it and we will be here when it needs us.
Get Involved with Admission
WAAV (Wesleyan Alumni Admission Volunteers) support in the admission process is a critical component in our efforts to attract the strongest candidates from across the country and abroad.
The primary activities for WAAV are engaging with prospective and admitted students virtually and in-person, serving on admission panels, and occasionally attending college fairs and admission receptions throughout the country. Each WAAVer has an alumni portal where they can view opportunities and resources.
Getting involved with the WAAV program helps ensure that the students in your community who lack the time and/or resources to get to campus have an equal opportunity to attach a personality to Wes by virtue of their interaction with you. Your involvement also helps ensure that Wesleyan continues to attract and enroll students who represent various backgrounds and perspectives.
Lifelong Support
Your time at Wesleyan is designed as a launch pad leading to a full and rewarding life after Wesleyan, and there is continuing support available to help ensure that plan comes to fruition.
TheGordon Career Center and ourContinuing Studies programs are just some examples, along with a network of other alumni available to connect with you in numerous fields, industries, and social endeavors.
This is Not a Campaign.
Wesleyan is more thanjust an institution just as youwere more than just a student, andare more than any single label can encompass now. In this same spirit, we have named our latest giving effort “This is Not a Campaign” because it is truly so much more.
We are committed to access, launch, and activate possibilities in ways that stretch beyond perceived limitations. This is not a campaign. This is Wesleyan.
Alumni Stories

As a first-generation college student, with life experiences many of my peers hadn’t had, I wanted to invest in their success the same way they’ve invested in mine.
Andrew Daggon ’20

It’s urgently important to take the ideas of young people seriously. What makes Wesleyan special is the way in which we use our values not as a social litmus test, but as a call to action.
Felicia Appenteng ’07

At Wesleyan, I learned to be part of a community bigger than myself and to connect ideas that weren’t obvious—lessons that have been integral to my leadership. My education and experiences at Wesleyan gave me the real tools to be a successful executive.
Donna Morea ’73, Hon. ’23, P’06

I was part of Wesleyan’s Class of 1973. That was a class that resulted in nineteen Black medical doctors. Being nurtured by Wesleyan made a big difference in my life.
Ronald Johnson ’73

There’s a culture that’s built at Wesleyan — aided by those who have self-selected to be here — that we should all leave this world better than we found it. And there’s an appreciation that this can be done in myriad ways.
Sid Espinosa ’04
Wesleyan may be unparalleled in its ability to let you tune into your own values and figure out who you are, encouraging you to express that in the world and take action with confidence.
