Who does United American Indian Involvement (UAII) serve?
UAII Healthcare offers healthcare services that are culturally centered and open to all.
UAII Community and Outreach offers culturally grounded social service programs exclusively to American Indian/Alaska Native community members of all ages.

What is the difference between UAII Healthcare and UAII Community and Outreach?
UAII Healthcare and UAII Community and Outreach are the two divisions of UAII. Although these divisions are separate, they will continue to offer holistic and comprehensive healthcare and social services to UAII members.
UAII Healthcare services are available to the community. LACare, Medi-Cal and Medicare are accepted.
UAII Community and Outreach provides social service programs exclusively to American Indian/Alaska Native community members in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

What is United American Indian Involvement (UAII) and what is its mission?
United American Indian Involvement (UAII) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving Native communities in the Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
Our mission is to promote and support the physical, behavioral and spiritual well-being of American Indian/Alaska Natives in Los Angeles and Orange counties by providing comprehensive, integrated services that focus on all age groups and incorporate American Indian/Alaska Native cultures and traditions.

How can I get involved with UAII's programs and initiatives?
There are various ways to get involved with UAII. You can volunteer your time, donate to support our programs, attend our events, or simply spread awareness about our mission within your community.

What services does UAII provide?
UAII offers a wide range of healthcare and social services across its two entities. UAII Healthcare offers healthcare, dental, and behavioral health services. UAII Community and Outreach provides youth and family programs, elder services, housing-related services, educational support, job training, and cultural events.

Is UAII only for Natives, or can anyone access its services?
While our primary focus is on serving Native communities, many of our services (Healthcare: Medical, Behavioral Health, and Dental) are open to individuals from all backgrounds. Contact member services to check insurance eligibility.

What types of cultural events and activities does UAII organize?
UAII hosts various cultural events throughout the year, including an annual powwow, language classes, cultural workshops, Indigenous food workshops, and more. These events aim to celebrate and preserve Native American heritage and traditions.
