It will be available to Foxtel Movies and Foxtel Platinum subscribers, from 6.00am on Friday, February 24 through to Monday, February 27.

The Batman franchise is one of the highest-grossing series in movie history: from the twisted humour of the original Batman starring Michael Keaton and directed by Tim Burton, to Christopher Nolan’s gritty The Dark Knight trilogy starring Christian Bale, Batman remains one of the most popular superheros of all time.

The Superman franchise continues its legacy as one of the most loved superhero series ever, starting with the original Superman film starring Christopher Reeve in arguably the most praised portrayal of the superhero, through to Henry Cavill’s modern take on the iconic character in 2013’s Man of Steel.

The pop-up channel follows on from Foxtel Movies’ enormously successful pop-up channels in 2016, including the Star Wars, Harry Potter, Fast and Furious and 12 Days of Christmas pop-ups.

The fourteen movies featured on the Batman vs Superman pop-up, running back-to-back and in order, are as follows:

Batman (1989)
Batman Returns (1992)

  1. 14? They’re superhero movies, so it’ll be more like ‘3 movies, rebooted several times’…

  2. No Adam West Batman movie?… oh well.

    1. Probably because the Adam West Batman movie was made by 20th Century Fox not Warner Brothers.
