Head football coach Marcus Satterfield relieved of duties, national search to begin immediately

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Tech University Athletics Department announced today that head football coach Marcus Satterfield has been relieved of his duties, effective immediately.
A national search for a new head coach will begin immediately. Associate head coach and offensive coordinator Tyree Foreman will serve as acting head coach until the position is filled.
Satterfield, who was named the 12th head coach in program history, accumulated a 6-16 record in two seasons.
