ThePablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Centre is located in a building with almost a century of history and declared an Asset ofCultural Interest in 1990 inTorremolinos (Málaga).

It was built in 1935, designed by the architectFrancisco Alonso Martos, in the style current at the time. It was also known as theAncient College for Railway Orphans as that was its original purpose.

ThePablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Centre is the epicenter of art in all its cultural disciplines in Torremolinos. It hosts all kinds of activities and cultural events.

It has an assembly hall, two cinemas for all kinds of screenings, yoga room and areas more dedicated and equipped for children's activities, workshop rooms, magnificent terraces with views of the city, gardens full of sculptures and a cafeteria.

These premises are used to organize all kinds of cultural events and exhibitions of photography, painting, sculpture and other techniques. In addition, inside, it houses theElena Laverón exhibition hall.

The building, located at 42 Calle de La Cruz,  is a must-see for its architectural interest and it houses one of the municipal libraries that we will discuss in another section of Torremolinos cultural buildings.

ThePablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Center car park is available from 9:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. on weekdays and from 9:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Saturdays.
