Here is a fact-based summary of the story contents:
Try something different:

Summary

  • The custom Road Glide boasts Screamin' Eagle Stage III engine upgrades to produce over 100 horsepower and 130 pound-feet of torque.
  • Top-quality suspension, forged wheels, and upgraded brakes enhance performance and handling for a thrilling ride each time.
  • Its head-turning aesthetics include a striking livery and custom lighting.

Customization has long been an integral part of theHarley-Davidson culture. It mostly revolves around cruisers like the Street Bob, Breakout, and Fat Boy, given their easy-to-customize nature with minimal parts and low MSRPs. Meanwhile, heavyweights in the touring lineup are often skipped, given their high upfront cost and bulky body parts. So the chances of coming across a souped-up Harley-Davidson bagger are slim. And one that’s readily available to take home even slimmer.

Lucky for you, we at TopSpeed love a challenge, especially ones that revolve around America’s favorite bikemaker. Allow us to present a customHarley-Davidson Road Glide that promises to provide a performance bagger experience like no other. Right from the suspension and ergonomics to the Milwaukee Eight engine, everything is tricked out here for an unparalleled riding experience.

Custom Harley-Davidson Pan America 2
The Harley-Davidson Bronx Just Became Reality, But There’s A Catch

While waiting for H-D to bring the Bronx to reality, European custom shop Powerbrick Performance has transformed a Pan America into a streetfighter

Powered By A Screamin’ Eagle 122ci Stage III Engine

Power: >110 Horsepower; Torque: >140 Pound-Feet

Since we’ve repeatedly used the term “performance bagger”, it’s only fair we start with the engine. In its stock form, the Road Glide Specialfeatures a Milwaukee Eight 114 V-twin engine. But for this build, that’s undergone a massive upgrade, thanks to Screamin’ Eagle Stage III cylinders and piston kit. This is said to bump the peak output to over 100 horsepower and 130 pound-feet (dyno-tested), as compared to the ~80 HP figure of the stock engine.

The engine joins hands with aSawicki Speed full-system (two-into-one) exhaust for a raspy exhaust note. Whereas, a gold chain and Vortex 50-tooth rear sprocket further alter the power delivery. The final performance upgrades include a BA air cleaner, a 538 cam, and velocity stacks–all from Feuling.

Thingslook much better than before, too. This is courtesy of cam cover, trans cover, and derby cover frompopular turbo company Trask Performance. Plus, a see-through air filter, Santoro engine guards, and shift linkage further add a touch of pizazz. While the exact performance figures are NA, we think over 110 horsepower and 140 pound-feet seems like a realistic figure with all the upgrades in question.

Notable Engine Upgrades

  • Screamin’ Eagle Stage III cylinders and piston kit
  • Screamin’ Eagle adjustable pushrod kit
  • Sawicki Speed full-system exhaust
  • Feuling air cleaner
  • Feuling 538 cam
  • Feuling velocity stacks
  • Vortex rear sprocket
  • Trask performance front sprocket
  • ARP rocker shaft
  • S&S tappet cuffs

Top-Quality Suspension And Revamped Ergonomics

Wheels: Forged; Suspension: Fully Adjustable

Having heaps of power is one thing, and putting it all to good use is another. Youneed quality underpinnings for the latter, which is exactly what the custom Road Glide promises. The stock forks have made way for Arlen Ness 49 mm golden “no flex” fork legs while the rear end now comprises 14-inch shocks from Legends Suspension.

Both ends are fully adjustable and join hands with forged wheels sourced from RC Components. You’d also appreciate the upgraded brakes, comprising Performance Machine floating rotors front and rear. In the meantime, the spruced-up ergonomics sweeten the pot further. You get High-End bars, mounted onto custom risers and triple clamp. This partnered with trick-looking levers, grips, and mirrors for unmatched attention to detail every time you ride.

Perhaps the most notable change, though, is theSpeed Merchant mid controls. These replace the OEM forward-set floorboards with mid-set footpegs to ensure a sporty riding position and improve cornering clearance. All this while, the custom Saddlemen leather seat and the repositioned instrument cluster bring the ergonomic changes to a close. We can only imagine how good this Road Glide would ride in the twisties!

A Head-Turner With A Sporty Livery

Rounding off the custom touches is a distinct aesthetic. From afar, all the notable Road Glide elements remain intact, as you still get the Shark Nose fairing, rear saddlebags, and low-slung stance. But the closer you look, the more changes come to light. The most eye-catching element is easily the smashing livery, which looks like somethingDucati would do. It drapes the motorcycle in a white-red-black colorway from head to toe, complete with red-white wheels for added oomph.

Then, there’s the custom lighting. The stock headlamp has been replaced by uber-bright LED lights fromCali Raised Moto, in addition to LED signals from the same brand. The rear saddle LEDs, meanwhile, are Harley-Davidson Keystone units from the accessories catalog. Speaking of official H-D bits, the fuel tank cap, rocker boxes, saddlebag lid, and fairing spoilers are all company accessory parts. Other nitty-gritty custom bits include:

  • Extended kickstand
  • Custom license plate kit
  • Klock Werks 9-inch windscreen
  • Performance Machine windscreen trim
  • Paul Yaffe custom front fender
  • Red handlebar
  • Red instrument gauge nacelles

The Custom Road Glide Costs Over $60,000

Right from the wheels to the brake levers, everything has been customized to elevate the muscle quotient

If you’ve come this far, you’d know just how absolutely loaded this Harley-Davidson Road Glide is. It’s armed to the teeth with upgrades in all aspects, all of which come from reputable part shops. Understandably, these bits cost a lot of money, inevitably bumping the price of the custom bike.

That is why the custom Road Glide is currently for sale atIconic Motorbike Auctions for an asking price of $64,200–more than twice the $27,999 MSRP of the base bike. Yes, that’s a lot of money, but we think the upgrades come very close to justifying the moolah. Not to mention, the tires are new and the odometer reads just 84 miles. So if you have that kind of cash and want a performance bagger like no other, this just might be your best bet.
