Devamany is new MIC deputy president

SERDANG: MIC has a new deputy president in the form of Datuk Seri S.K. Devamany, who ousted incumbent Datuk M. Saravanan in a close contest.

Devamany, who is also Perak state assembly Speaker, polled 698 votes against Saravanan's 681 votes.
