The 108 birth anniversary celebrations of actor V. Nagaiah, organised by Padmasri Chittoor V. Nagayya Memorial Trust (that has yesteryear actor and producer P. Anjali Devi as its chairman and managing trustee) will be held on April 27 (today), 6.30 p.m., at P. Obul Reddy Hall (Vani Mahal), G.N. Chetty Road, T.Nagar. The Governor of Tamil Nadu, Dr. Konijeti Rosaiah, the chief guest, will present Chittoor V. Nagayya Puraskar Award to director K. Viswanath, honour Kanchana, film actor, G. Rajini Reddy, founder, Exemplar Worldwide Ltd., G.R.K. Reddy, chairman, MARG Ltd., and Dwaraknath Reddy, MD, Nippo Batteries Pvt. Ltd., distribute financial assistance to KTCT Girls Higher Secondary School, SKDT Higher Secondary School and Park Montessori School, launch the trust’s website and address the gathering. Dr. T. Subbarami Reddy, MP, chairman, Parliamentary Standing Committee on Science and Technology, Environment and Forests, will deliver the presidential address. R.V. Ramana Murthy, chairman, Andhra Pradesh State Cultural Council, will be the guest of honour.
