RTE VIEWERS are in for a Friends feast tonight when the stationbroadcasts a cliffhanging hour-long episode of the hit American sit-com.
Telly bosses are expecting well over half-a-million fans to tune into the laugh-a-minute special.
The final episode in the fourth series features the TV wedding ofthe year between Ross, played by David Schimmer, and British beautyEmily, played by Helen Baxendale.
The romance has had fans hooked and desperate to know whethersupergeek Ross will choose to tie the knot or go back to old flame Rachel, played by Jennifer Aniston.
But insiders have revealed that Friends addicts may have to waituntil the fifth series to find out how the love triangle works out.
The show's producers filmed a number of different endings tokeep fans guessing, but they have promised that the one viewers will seeon Network 2 tonight will be a cliffhanger.
Moments before Ross says "I do", he screams outRachel's name in the final scene of the series.
Viewers will then have to wait for a new run of the show - to befilmed later this year - to find out who he ends up with.
Tonight's episode was filmed last month in London and evenfeatures a walk-on role for Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson.
