The municipalities included in theplan range from smaller cities such as Peterborough and Guelph, which are being asked to achieve minimum gross density targets of 150 residents and jobs per hectare, through to several growth centres in downtown Toronto that are being directed to have minimum density targets of 400 residents and jobs per hectare by 2031.

TEESSIDE Hospice launches its Christmas PartyPlan range at the Education and Counselling Building, Teesside Hospice, 1 Northgate Road, Middlesbrough, on Monday.

The tree-related aspects of theplan range from pruning to prevent trees from blowing over and blocking critical transportation routes (to hospitals and shelters, for example) to defining those access routes based on tree species and/or size.

Cream teas will be served and visitors will be able to view the hospice's new partyplan range of linen, crafts and fancy goods, as well as book parties.
