Brian is a former director of music at Mandeville School andadvanced skills teacher for music, and a former director of music at The Cooper School and is now tutor for the PGCE (post graduate certificate in education) course at the University of Buckingham.

She has taught all subjects, but for the past seven years has been anAdvanced Skills teacher for dance and PE and continues to work in that area.

She is anAdvanced Skills teacher who has also worked to help raise language standards across Kirklees for the last 11 years and will lead Marsden from September.

Stuart Leeming,advanced skills teacher for drama at the school, along with performing arts facilitators Penny Whiteway and Sarah Robinson, acted out a live piece to follow the video based on their childhood experiences.

They have qualifications from top British universities, including Oxford and Durham, with some holding Doctorate and Master's Degrees, and some holding theAdvanced Skills Teacher qualification, the highest award possible for a practising teacher.

Emily is currently assistant principal at the academy, where she has worked as anadvanced skills teacher in mathematics.

"This started as a pilot scheme with a small group of Year 9 pupils," explained Anna Wolfenden,advanced skills teacher in science, "but we hope to expand it across the school.

The 39-year-old is the class teacher for 5KA, but she's also a lead science teacher and actingadvanced skills teacher for North Tyneside, which means other schools benefit from her enthusiasm and expertise.

The school is fortunate to have a strong and committed staff, including anadvanced skills teacher, a runner-up in the National Teacher of the Year Award and a consultant to the local authority for writing, which strengthens further an already dynamic team.

After passing a robust national assessment she was promoted toadvanced skills teacher and seconded to mentor more than 100 Liverpool John Moores trainee teachers.
