Sunair Aviation is a privately owned and operated New Zealand airline with over 30 years of safe flying history. From our beginnings as a commuter service to Motiti Island, we’ve grown to operate a fleet of twin and single-engine aircraft, offering scheduled flights, scenic tours, charter services, and a busy flight training program.
Based at Tauranga City Airport, Sunair connects six provincial cities across the upper North Island, providing essential travel links for business, medical, and personal trips. With over 60,000 flying hours and 4,000 departures annually, Sunair proudly serves more than 2,000 regular customers.
