The Muckinbudin Speedway being a very fast track as compared with others he raced at, He remembers scouring the tip for wrecks, taking front ends and panels as spares, just to keep the car on the track. His memories of other "Mucka" competitors at the time were John Hobbs, Danny O'Donnell senior and junior, Gary Copeland, Leo Van DerLeer and Owen O'Gilvey, The Chrisp's (Les, Eddy and Brian)

from memory the track is about 10k's North of Muckinbudin on the left hand side of the road in a gravel pit, there may be a another gravel pit on the other side of the road.
