2024 - WAHGUNYAH SPEEDWAY.   Production Sedans 1000 & AMCA NATIONALS  NSW v VIC.   9th June 2024.

With the final race meeting of the season held on the Kings birthday weekend Sunday, Wahgunyah speedway fans were treated to terrific action that included Goulburn New South Wales area racer Craig McAlister, local competitor Justin Brockley and Elphinstone racer Mick Kiraly winning the major events.

Supporting class race victories went to local racer Micheal Fleming-Robertson in the Standard Saloons, Darren Clarke in the Unlimited Sedans, Mick Mannix in Sports Sedans and Tay Barnard in Ladies Sports Sedans.

joining the locals behind the wheel, Stephen Hopkins from the greater Bendigo area won the first of three heats, Justin Richardson was next to claim a heat win before Mick Keraly won the final heat race in a new eight lap record time of 3.03.165.

In the feature Richardson would lead early from Kiraly and Neale Peachey, on lap seven Kiraly moved to the race lead and try as he may, Richardson could not get close enough to pick him off, at races end to podium was as follows below. Photographer: unknown.
