POLICIES

We are an equal-opportunity employer.
We do not practice discrimination of any type.

Question for today, and a paraphrase of the words of Edward Abbey:

Q: What is deep ecology?

Deep ecology is a biocentric or 'life-centered' worldview rather than
our dominant anthropocentric or 'human-centered' worldview.
The basic tenet of deep ecology is that all life, all living forms,
have an intrinsic value, a right to exist and persist and continue,
for their own sakes, and not simply for what they may contribute to
human welfare.

We humans have a right to be here too, but we do not have a right to
dominate the entire planet, or to regard it as our farm or plantation
to manage as we think best for solely human ends.
We have to respect the right of other creatures to live in their own
way and style, at their own pace, without a lot of human meddling.
