PRWeek US Awards 2025: The Winners
The campaigns, agencies and leaders who won the top trophies at the 26th annual PRWeek Awards.
by PRWeek staff14 March 2025

Another trip to Cipriani Wall Street means it’s PRWeek Awards time again, the 26th celebration of the most credible work, teams and individuals in the PR industry over the preceding 12-month qualification period.
Many of the winners this year demonstrated PR firms breaking through to client and brand territory once solely associated with creative agencies, which was also reflected in the Cannes Lions winners at the International Festival of Creativity last summer. The work also reflects the significant difference smart PR can make in terms of influencing legislation, impacting behaviors and changing society.
Our Communicator of the Year for 2025 is actress and disability rights activist Marissa Bode, the first person who uses a wheelchair in real life to be cast as Nessarose Thropp in the musical Wicked. Bode, who stars in the film adaptations Wicked and its upcoming sequel, Wicked: For Good, is determined to lobby for a world in which disabled actors aren’t seen primarily in the context of their disability, rather as human beings existing alongside everybody else.
Thanks to our awards jury chair Jano Cabrera, CCO of General Mills, and the rest of the senior execs from the client, agency, technology and education sectors who make up the judging panel. The credibility they bring to the table results in the incredible quality of winners we honor this evening.
Finally, my continued thanks go to all of you for engaging with PRWeek, its content, initiatives and events. I trust that tonight provides some inspiration and excellence for you to aspire to emulate in the next 12 months.
– Steve Barrett, editorial director, PRWeek
