The World Pheasant Association (WPA) is a UK registered charity (no 1181022) founded in 1975 and was supported by the French ornithologist, Jean Delacour. Our aims are to promote the conservation of Galliformes worldwide through research, scientific studies, the management of backup populations, education in local communities and in-situ projects.
