Yes. Wheelchairs are available at the Main Entrance and the East Entrance. There are a few areas that are inaccessible without a staff escort. Please see any of the admissions or security staff for assistance. VisitAccessibility for details.

Located on the Main Level, the Museum Café serves fresh international cuisine, including healthy, vegetarian, and sustainable options. Visit theMuseum Café for hours and details.

The Penn Museum Shop is located on the Main Level near the Museum Café and Africa Gallery. You can also shoponline.

The Museum's galleries are kept at a comfortable temperature for our visitors and artifacts. You may experience slight changes in temperature from space to space due to the nature of the building and the varying volume of spaces. Some galleries may be warmer in the summer and cooler in the winter.

The Penn Museum is part of theUniversity of Pennsylvania and is open to the general public. We invite all visitors to enjoy our galleries, exhibitions, and gardens during our public hours.

Access to thePenn Museum Archives for research is available by appointment. Groups may book Archives programs throughGroup Sales.

Photography is permitted for private, noncommercial use except where otherwise posted. Flash photography is not permitted. Videotaping with small, personal recording devices is allowed for non-commercial use.

To protect visitors and objects, the Penn Museum prohibits the use of tripods, monopods, or selfie sticks in the Museum and gardens. We encourage visitors to share their photographs with others through social media using@pennmuseum.
