At any given time, we are responding to over 30 emergency situations, giving life-saving support to those most in need. We help people caught up in disasters and conflicts across the world with clean water, food, sanitation and protection. We stay long after the dust has settled to help rebuild communities and support them in being better prepared to cope with shocks and uncertainties. We also work hard to encourage global and local policymakers to bring about the changes needed to improve the lives of those affected.

Climate and Food Crisis in East & West Africa
The Horn, East and Central Africaare facing a profoundly alarming hunger crisis.More than 66 million people are in need of humanitarian aid as climate extremes have caused widespread food and water shortages. Oxfam is on the ground responding but we urgently need your help to save more lives.
