The Office of the University Security Management is recognized as the prime provider of efficient safety and security services required to meet the need of a progressive academic institution and uphold the mission of the University by supporting an environment in which diverse social, cultural and academic values are free to develop and prosper.

1. Provide a safe and secure campus environment and its premises at all times to allow the University to perform itsa functions.
2. Promote and enhance community partnerships in the fight against criminality and other threat groups.
3. Encourage and promote a healthy environment in which all personnel are committed to a professional code of ethics, accountability, and personal responsibility.
