The developers of the Picross S series are bringing mouse controls to their retro-tinged gaming puzzles when played on a Switch 2.

Capcom and SNK aren't fighting, but they do have rival Picross games coming out on November 27 as Picross S CAPCOM CLASSICS edition and Picross S SNK CLASSICS and NEOGEO edition hit Nintendo Switch. Each game will cost $17.99 (or regional equivalent) and both games will feature nearly 400 puzzles each across a variety of modes, including series staples like Mega Picross, Clip Picross, and Color Picross.

A ten minute trailer for Pokemon Pokopia has dropped some new details for the March 5 release.

The trailer confirmed that Pokopia will offer GameShare support (including to original Switch systems) and will have four player online co-op. The player-character Ditto will also be able to change their look ingame, as well as transform into other Pokemon such as Lapras for water traversal or Dragonite for flight.

They never said anything about a New Game+...

The Pikmin 4 update promised last month is now live.

The patch notes are available here: in addition to the promised Pikmin Bloom support and new difficulty options, the option to "roll over" completed save data to a new playthough has been added.

Also added was an option to skip the intro after the first playthrough.

Nintendo made a point of emphasis in their recent shareholder presentation about using apps to connect with fans, and another one has expanded its reach overnight.

A new app called "Nintendo Store" has dropped on the Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play store (Android) after previously launching in Japan under the name "My Nintendo". The app serves as an interface for the eShop as well as tracking game play history dating back to the 3DS.

Forget the third pillar, there's not even a second one here.

Nintendo has perhaps begun the transition to full on Switch 2 a bit sooner than most expected.
