TheFootsteps on the Mountain Diaries are myexpedition journals.
They are edited versions of what I scribble in my tent each evening after a day in the mountains, with a bit of history thrown in. Light-hearted and engaging, they provide a perfect introduction to life on the trail.
The series came about almost by accident when I started putting my travel journals online. Much to my surprise they picked up a few four- and five-star reviews and soon became popular. You can read more about theevolution of the series inthis blog post.
I am gradually re-editing the diaries and releasingrevised editions in bothebook and paperback format. The following diaries are currently available, and more will be released in due course.
