Z-Bananas are a type ofbanana that appears onDK's Jungle Ruins inMario Party 9. They are purple-colored bananas acting as the equivalent toMini Ztars (or regularZtars) on this board. Like bananas, Z-Bananas appear singularly or in bunches across the board; collecting one causes the player to lose one banana, and collecting a bunch causes them to lose three. It is possible to receive Z-Bananas in the secondCaptain Event of DK's Jungle Ruins, but there are none in theboss minigames of the board.
