TheWoods Watchers are major characters inWarioWare: Move It! They are a tribal group that overlooksCaresaway Island and are the guardians of the island's shrine. The members wear red-orange robes and masks bearing the insignia of theForm Stones.
The Woods Watchers first appear in the "Stone-Cold Welcome" stage. WhenWario refuses the Form Stones given to him, a chain-reaction of events causes him to fall and land in front of the shrine, provoking the Watchers. The tribe view him as a trespasser and chase him away from the shrine. Wario eventually escapes from the tribe on a parrot, accepting the stones gifted to him.
The Woods Watchers play a major role in "Sweet Dreams, Sweeter Fruit" where they are shown worshipping an idol ofthe Voice from above. They are interrupted byOrbulon, who crashes onto the idol and loses his memory. The tribe notices the resemblance between Orbulon and the idol; mistaking him for their god, the Watchers start serving Orbulon.
The Woods Watchers make their final appearance in the "Lava at First Sight" stage. When Wario merges with Perspiration Peak Volcano to becomeVolcano Wario, the elder of the Woods Watchers, along with two other Woods Watchers, takes notice, and explains that everyone must dance to lift the curse and calm the mountain. Throughout the stage, Woods Watchers produce panels displaying theform for each microgame. By the end of the stage, their plan succeeds, and Wario is launched back into the shrine, where he takes the place of the stolen idol. The tribe notices Wario and serve him as their new god, much to his dismay.
