Wonder Bowser,Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Wonder Bowser[1] is a form thatBowser takes on inSuper Mario Bros. Wonder. He is only seen in the final course of the game,The Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage, serving as the final boss. Wonder Bowser is a large floating head made of stone with bright green eyes with bright pink pupils. He has black and neon green striped hair with uneven green glowing horns. Additionally, Wonder Bowser initially has two floating smoky hands, but gets up to four later in the battle. He makes up the apex spire ofCastle Bowser, and is visible from its outside.

Wonder Bowser is fought in four phases. In phase one, he stays high in the air, shooting outNote Piranha Plants from his hands. Using the rhythm floors, the players must strike thelarge ! Switch under his chin at the right time to damage him. Afterwards, Wonder Bowser spits out aBig Note Piranha Plant that splits into four Note Piranha Plants when it makes contact with the ground. He then slams his arms into the ground in an attempt to crush the players. After taking more damage, Wonder Bowser floats into the background and spits out Note Piranha Plants and their larger variants from both sides of the screen. Afterwards, Wonder Bowser alters the floor into two colored sides and gets an additional arm.

The second phase is similar to the first, although Wonder Bowser stays above his hands to protect himself. The Big Note Piranha Plant also splits into six Note Piranha Plants instead of four. Before moving on to the third phase of the battle, Wonder Bowser alters the ground once more and creates a fourth arm.

In the third phase, the Big Note Piranha Plant now’s splits into eight Note Piranha Plants, and afterwards Wonder Bowser's arms each carry disco ball-esqueSpike-Balls. He will toss them onto the stage, where they bounce offscreen. After taking even more damage, Wonder Bowser's hair will break, revealing a largeBowser Switch on his head.

In the final phase, there are airborne platforms that can be used to reach to Wonder Bowser, who is now high up in the air. His four hands each patrol different sections of the battlefield. When players are close to Wonder Bowser, he will breathe out smoke clouds that deal no damage but knock away characters that make contact with them. When the Bowser Switch on his head is pressed, Wonder Bowser will lose all of his Wonder Power and fall to the ground, ending the battle.
