The Stupendous Stew

TheStupendous Stew is a stew made by theVolbonans of theLuncheon Kingdom inSuper Mario Odyssey. It is the kingdom's famous dish found in a giant pot atop Mount Volbono and in smaller pots inPeronza Plaza. Two large pots of it, but not as large as the giant pot, can be interacted with. In any such case, the stew acts identically tolava.

During the events of the game, a large bowl of stew is stolen byBowser and theBroodals as a meal forPrincess Peach's forced marriage to theKoopa king. AfterMario defeats Bowser in theMoon Kingdom, the Stupendous Stew is returned.

The player can obtaincertainPower Moons bycapturing aLava Bubble and jumping inside the smaller pots of Stupendous Stew, as well as throwing goldenturnips into them. Regular turnips producecoins when tossed in, as any kickable objects like small fruits and cans. Turnips are worth more coins. Objects put into Stupendous Stew are processed one at a time. There is a distinctive set of popping sound effects used when the aforementioned items or Lava Bubbles enter a pot.
