Rattly can also jump in midair when falling from a platform, and he can bounce offZingers without taking damage. On a small note, Rattly hops while moving. Rattly is first encountered inTopsail Trouble, where players start the stage in front of aRattly Crate. They can optionally use Rattly's assistance up to the area with theStar Barrel. Rattly later appears inRattle Battle, where the player characters are required to enter aRattly Barrel in a room at the start to play as Rattly for a majority of the level. InGusty Glade, Rattly can optionally be ridden. InToxic Tower, players are required to transform into Rattly to perform high jumps to escape from the risingtoxic waste, up until the Star Barrel, where players use other animal buddies. Rattly is used for the final segment inAnimal Antics, set in a jungle environment.
