New Super Mario Bros. Wii
InNew Super Mario Bros. Wii, the Propeller Block has the same function as aPropeller Mushroom, with the exception that players can maintain the ability to use the Propeller Jump even after being hit as long as they are holding the block, and that they cannot take it intopipes. To use it, the player must pick it up (shaking theWii Remote and pressing) and hold it (by holding down
). Then, the user must shake the Wii Remote anytime in order tofly. This block is found at least once in eachworld (except forWorld 1), usually in stages where fog is found and in places where there are hiddencoins orplatforms floating or in places beyond the reach of the player(s). Propeller Blocks are also used in the first battle withBowser Jr.
