"Ostern im Schwammerlland" is a two-page comic published in the 2/1992 issue of the GermanClub Nintendo magazine. The story continues in "Super Mario: Die unheimliche Begegnung der Yoshi-Art."
Plot synopsis
Spring has come in theMushroom Kingdom, andMario decides to take a walk. On his way, he meetsLuigi, and both agree to inviteToad andPrincess Toadstool to a picnic. All of them bring some food, drinks, and a badminton racket. They sit down, having their picnic, when Mario detects a pink rabbit carrying a basket full ofeggs. Assuming that it is the Easter Bunny, Mario and Luigi follow the rabbit in order to be the first to get their Easter eggs. They do not manage to reach the rabbit; however, it drops an especially big, green-spotted egg out of its basket. As it turns out in the sequel, it is aYoshi Egg, and Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Toadstool wonder what will emerge from it.
