"Obel Corsica" is a skit that aired as part ofDonkey Kong Planet. It is framed as a car commercial. Its title is a pun on the car modelOpel Corsa.
Summary[edit]
Funky Kong is driving down a road in aVolvo 340/360 while listening to "Marinella" on the radio. He is overtaken by a van in the left lane, causing an angry Funky to shout "I tell you: women at the wheel? More like, death at the corner!". The van stops, prompting Funky to honk and taunt the driver. FourCandy Kongs then come out of the van, with one of them asking Funky, in an Italian accent, if he is looking for trouble. The commercial ends as the narrator delivers the tagline "Beware: this car can hide many others. MANY others...", with the Obel Corsica logo appearing onscreen.

- When the van is overtaking Funky's car, no one can be seen driving it.
- While the make of van featured in the skit is implied to be an Obel Corsica, the actual van used is aRenault Espace.
