Masterpiece Speed Run is the second mission of theRolling Masterpiece Galaxy inSuper Mario Galaxy 2. This mission requires theComet Medal from theprevious mission as well as aPrankster Comet in orbit to be played.
Mission
The layout of this mission is largely the same as the previous mission, though the player must now complete it within a time limit of two minutes. There are some differences, however: Thekey on theTamakoro Pole Planet is now placed on the underside of the planet, the player is taken to theTamakoro Hole Bomb Hei Planet instead of theTamakoro Garigari Cylinder Planet where the player has to avoidBob-ombs instead ofGrinders, and there are noCheckpoint Flags present. If the player can defeat theHoming Chomp and make it to the goal in time, the timer will stop when thePower Star appears.
