The "Main Theme" is a track and recurring motif throughoutPaper Mario: Color Splash. It is a folk-style song played on a violin and a strumming guitar, and is first heard on the game's title screen. It is incorporated into many tracks throughout the game.
A piano cover, titled "Main Theme (Ragtime)", plays in the digital instruction manual. It and the regular version of the main theme are found on the Special record in thePrisma Museum's Sound Gallery.
A violin and clarinet arrangement called "Ruddy Road" plays inthe level of the same name. A slowed-down arrangement played on accordion, called "Prisma Café", plays at theRuddy Road Café. Both tracks are located on the level's record in the Prisma Museum.
The "Main Theme" is incorporated into "Circle Up, Shy Guys!", an accordion cover of the song that variousSlurp Guys are seen dancing through in Ruddy Road,Sunglow Ridge, andBlack Bowser's Castle.
A synthesized, glockenspiel arrangement incorporating the sound effects of scissors snipping called "Cut Out the Cutout!" plays whenever Mario uses theCutout ability. It is found on the record forCherry Lake.
"Paint Star Memories" is a slow, solo piano track with the sound of a clock ticking throughout. It is heard after Mario brings aBig Paint Star toPort Prisma, and incorporates the main theme's leitmotif. It is found on the record forThe Crimson Tower.
"Redpepper Spa" is a reinstrumentation on traditional Chinese instruments that plays in the hot springs ofRedpepper Crater. It is found on that level's record in the Prisma Museum.
The "Main Theme" is quoted again in "Farewell," a melancholy piano piece that plays whenHuey says his goodbyes to Mario, Peach, and Luigi. It is on the record forBlack Bowser's Castle.
A music box version of the track, "Fin," plays at the very end of the game, during the shot ofPrisma Fountain at night.
A triumphant sting covering the main theme plays when Mario collects enoughHammer Scraps and levels up.
The "Main Theme" is a smaller part of the tracks "Overworld," "Port Prisma" and its rearrangements, "Bowser's Airship Aloft," "The Crimson Tower," "Prism Samba," "Daffodil Peak," "The Happy Professor," "Blackout," and "Prisma Splash!"
