Junior Hits England (also referred to asChallengers Bonus 1 andChallengers +1) is the first Challengers bonus episode in the Story Mode of theNintendo 3DS version ofMario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. The episode is unlocked after completingThe Grand Showdown, and unlocksJunior, Super Hero? once it is completed.
Plot[edit]
Bowser Jr. arrives atStonehenge, and is confused as he believes that it isLondon but it does not match with what he had heard about it. He notices a pair of green and blueShy Guys passing by, and asks them where theMain Stadium is. The Shy Guys explain that the games are being held in London and that it is a long way from Stonehenge, but suggest that Bowser Jr. could do some training while he is there, asYoshi comes out to Stonehenge to train. After the Shy Guys suggest that Bowser Jr. would not be as good as Yoshi, the pair challenge each other an OlympicEvent.
Bowser Jr. beats Yoshi, who decides to train some more in preparation for a rematch during the Olympic games. Bowser Jr. asks the Shy Guys to tellBowser how well he did when they next see him, which they agree to do. A pair of red and yellow Shy Guys arrive, having just come from London, and explain that some ofDr. Eggman's robots were causing problems onTower Bridge, thoughShadow andSilver managed to stop them. Bowser Jr. overhears their conversation and decides to head to London on hisBullet Bill to prove that he is better than Shadow, Silver and the robots. The Shy Guys notice that Bowser Jr. has left, but believe that he can take care of himself and continue their conversation.
