Using them automatically places an ice watermelon in the air suspended by a propeller, allowing a Yoshi to have its ability at nearly any point, as new ice watermelons appear following him. InYoshi's Island, using a Super Blue Watermelon allows a Yoshi to spit ice nine times instead of the usual three.
InNintendo Puzzle Collection, ice, fire, and regular Watermelons cascade down the screen when a stage of Round 9 is cleared in the Action Mode ofYoshi no Cookie.
