Bouncing blade

Thebouncing blade[1] (also described as aspike creature)[2] is an object that appears inside the secondjar ofWorld 5-2 inSuper Mario Advance. It is a pointy light-blue object that lies on the ground, expanding and contracting repeatedly. If a playable character touches it, they lose a heart on theirHealth Meter. The bouncing blade cannot be taken out by normal means, as it is immune to the nearbyvegetable andPOW Block that can be plucked out of the floor and thrown at it.[3] However, if theStarman's effect is applied to the character, the object is knocked out just like any other enemy when run into.[4] It is worth nopoints.
