Banandium Gems (also known asGolden Bananas)[1] are items that appear inDonkey Kong Bananza, serving the same purpose as Golden Bananas fromDonkey Kong 64 andPower Moons fromSuper Mario Odyssey. They are destructible, edible, crystallizedbananas, though some of them appear inBanana Bunches of three similar toMulti Moons, with a diamond holding them together in place of a stem.[2] Banandium Gems were discovered onIngot Isle byDonkey Kong and a crew ofProspector Monkeys; however, they were stolen byVoidCo, who then fled to theUnderground World, where Donkey Kong is tasked to recover the Banandium Gems.[1]
