Update: OSPI Requesting Waiver to Allow Non-Congregate Meal Service during Unanticipated School Closures
Washington state is requesting waivers to allow sponsors of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), and Seamless Summer Option (SSO) to provide non-congregate meals when congregate meal service operations are limited due to natural disasters, unscheduled building repairs, court orders relating to building safety, labor-management disputes, or when approved by OSPI for a similar cause.
