There are TV commercials that last longer than Bahrain's Rashed Al Hooti did against Iran during a World Cup qualifying match on Tuesday evening.
Thirty nine seconds after the match began, Al Hooti delivered an illegal tackle on an Iranian forward that left the referee little choice but to assign a red card to the Bahraini defender.
According toDirty Tackle, some are calling the play the fastest red card ever in international play.
Al Hooti, playing in justhis third match with the national team, was forced to watch from the sideline as his squad was crushed by Iran 6-0.
