1937 Manufacturers of aluminium, copper, magnesium and light metal (alloy) forgings.[1]

1950 Reconstruction ofJ. Stone and Co to be a holding company; the existing 50 percent holdings inLight Metal Forgings Ltd in partnership withHughes-Johnson Stampings would be maintained, as would the 50 percent holding in Stone-Fry Magnesium Ltd.[2]

1961 Drop forgers and stampers in light alloys. 180 employees.[3]

Subsidiary ofJ. and H. B. Jackson

1967 Acquired the plant and equipment of the forge department ofJames Booth Aluminium[4] with a view to rationalization of the light metal forging industry.
