I borrowed this perfume from my mom and keep it in my stash. I don’t wear it often, but when I want that late ’90s retro vibe it’s my pick. It feels warm and cozy, with a little mystery to it, great for winter. It adds a warm touch and makes one feel like a 90s supermodel.

I wore this fragrance to the last drop back when I was in high school. Feeling nostalgic, I recently repurchased a bottle to see if smelled the same and if I still even liked it. Well, I do! I'm in love with it all over again and I receive compliments everywhere I go. It's perfect for warmer weather, as the coconut really stands out to me. Back then, I didn't care what notes this contained, but now I realize it also has tuberose, which is one of my all-time favorite notes.
locg03/10/25 04:34
Its everything in a perfume I really dislike, coconut, spices, vanilla and sweetness, just cloying and headache inducing.. kinda wanna hurl smelling this. It has put me off any fragrance containing coconut, since I smelled it as a kid. I like to eat coconut, I don't like to smell like them.
MademoiselleMaya01/28/25 03:05
I remember the scent when it was a novelty and I was still a kid. I received it as a gift. It was strong, sweet, very vanilla. I recently bought it out of sentimentality and it is no longer the same. It is much weaker, less vanilla, more a fruity vanilla. But it is still pretty and well worth the money. The fruits are predominantly peaches with a bit of mandarin. Out of the sweets we have vanilla, tonka beans, musk, benzoin - each in equal proportions, not as predominantly vanilla as it used to be. Out fo the flowers I feel the rose and some abstract flowers reminiscent of freesia. The blend is very feminine. It is lovely and can rival Sephora offerings. It is my favourite celebrity scent. But I regret it is no longer the warm vanilla bomb it used to be. It was not my favourite then but close and very eventful. Now it is multifaceted and possibly prettier but without the huge sillage and wow effect. Lasts easily 10 hours.
Sniffona11/29/24 12:16
Powdery and soapy. Clean and fluffy.
The notes (coconut, peach, pimento!??) are absolutely misleading though.
Hilenq11/23/24 01:52
I got this one when I was about 14 years old. I used it very few times as I thought it smelt alot like coconut and coconut only, since then, even after 14 long years, I just can't stand coconut scented perfumes. But I might change if I buy this again, I mean, after all, it's basically nostalgia in a bottle for moi.
JuliaToothFairy09/03/24 04:12
This perfume smells very very cheap, like hairspray. It smells worse than a typical 6€ perfume. Basically, you smell cheap for 30€. It smells like every other celebrity perfume that exists, like intense vanilla and intense sugar. It only lasts 10 minutes.
ThatGothBBW06/20/24 14:58
TO START, I was curious about this fragrance for a very long time, mainly due to all of the mixed reviews. I kept getting this GUT feeling though, that I would absolutely love this. I'm starting to notice that I really like Fragrances that are NOT overly hyped, or mass appealing. I feel like this fragrance gets mixed reviews BECAUSE it's not mass appealing, or a typical run of the mill celebrity fragrance.😒
But I digress. I finally got tired of being curious. I just bit the bullet and blind bought this, and WOW!😲 I need to listen to my gut WAY more often. THIS is a criminally underrated celebrity fragrance.
The notes in this are all blended to absolute perfection. It's to the point that it's quite tricky picking out individual notes. This is a mature fragrance, without being dated or vintage. This is sweet, powdery, and floral. In the most intoxicating way. There is nothing juvenile about this. To note, don't just smell the sprayer and make up your mind. The magic happens with the warmth of your skin and body chemistry ❤️
This has to be one of the most beautiful, complex, grown woman, SOPHISTICATED celebrity fragrances that I've EVER encountered. The quality is completely unmatched in this category, and it's price range. This smells like a true designer, not a celebrity. This is just so beautiful beyond words.
TBH, I feel like you could get away with this in almost any season. It's so well balanced that, it would work in so many temperatures/climates. I also feel like you also could dress it up, or down. And use this fragrance for many occasions. This is so signature scent worthy.
My only complaint is the wear time/projection. On my skin. I Can't smell ANYTHING past 3 to 4 hours, and that's being generous. Projection is an hour or two at the very best. It's such a a shame too because this is incredibly beautiful 😩 On clothes, I'm still testing that part. This will more than likely be a fragrance that you need to reapply or over spray, just my opinion though. It was a crime making this an EDT, I would be in heaven if this was an EDP.
Team over sprayer for life 😂
In MY opinion, if you enjoy Fragrances like, S by Shakira, Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna, Christina Aguilera by Christina Aguilera, Touch for Women by Burberry, Cashmere Mist by Donna Karan, or Chapter one by Jennifer Aniston, then you may also enjoy this. Just my personal opinion though. ❤️
This fragrance would be an EASY ten out ten if it had lasted longer, regardless it still gets a nine outta ten from me. It's back up bottle worthy for sure.
zelena45806/07/24 09:56
It's okay, not really what I would wear. I got it for my birthday like a year ago and used it maybe like two times. It doesn't smell bad but I probably won't wear it ever. I feel like an old lady would wear this.
barbiekool05/25/24 08:03
buy this perfume if you wanna smell like a sophisticated squirrel. nothing much to say besides that.
golducklett04/07/24 13:27
NC used to be my go to scent when I was a middle and high schooler. It was quite affordable and I was captivated by how mature it smelled, I felt like an actual adult woman while wearing it. I recently saw the tester while shopping in the local drugstore and couldn't help but spray some on my arm... And was soooo disappointed. Not sure if the fragrance got reformulated or if my taste in perfume just changed over the years, but it is just the most generic, flat gourmand. I still find it quite pleasant, but it lost the magic and empowerment it used to give me when I was a teen. I'd say it's a safe blind buy for people who like sweet "edible" perfume - NC is like sweet but a bit dense vanilla chocolate with a mix of baby powder, easy to like, but too boring to love.
Raindrop 901203/14/24 06:47
NC is a very sweet, worm creamy and delicious scent. it's well blended to give a sensual and feminine vibe. really beautiful!
fragrantmedude03/07/24 15:31
The opening is very nice, but it honestly just smells like playdoh after a while.
Elisjah02/03/24 03:47
Back in 2000/2001, when I smelled this fragrance for the first time, I was very surprised and captivated. I thought it was very chic and different. No cologne-like smell or intoxicating breathtaking oriental style, which you still encountered on the streets all around you. Apparently, I stayed behind in an other era and hadn't looked into newer fragrances for years. Nice thing was that this one was very affordable as a natural spray and had a little extra, namely small sparkles in the bottle! Lovely fragrance still, so well blended that it's hard to define individual notes from it. In the beginning freshness and florality with faint coconut and therefore a summery/tropical feeling. Anise makes it sweet, but again only noticeable when you really focus on it. Nothing really stands out, but everything is there. Softness, powderiness, edibility, allure, sweetish, sunny, but also wintery warm and seductive! I get a lot of compliments when I wear this, but only when someone comes close. It's still sold at the local drugstore in the Netherlands, but I don't know of anyone who wears it.
Pari8801/18/24 21:39
I recently repurchased this and it is just as delicious as ever. It has what I call the DK cashmere mist dna. A few of my loves have that same opening dna. including my Artemisia, but this one has a fluffy vanilla benzoin sandalwood tonka yummy Creme brûlée dry down that is to die for!
This is true silk and cashmere to me; the feeling of soft silky fluffiness against your skin.
The opening is quite citric but immediately morphs to the Artemisia/cashmere mist. Then the dry down, a scrumptious fluffy gourmand-but not edible, just skin like.
This fragrance needs the warmth of your skin to bloom.
The beginning is a sharp scent that morphs into this fluffy perfection. It is a silk dress on a cool summer night with a thin cashmere cardigan. Or a bed made of silk sheets in front of a warm fire on a cold winters night
A must have for me. Sadly it’s discontinued, so any similar fragrances with the same delicious base would be appreciated
elliesmellie12/02/23 09:12
I got this gifted when i was about 15 and bought it again a few months ago at 28. What a wonderful smell for such a good price. One of the very few celeb smells that are actually good. It opens a little harshly, but settles down to a fancy and pleasant smell.
swedish_bluebell11/17/23 14:01
Weird smelling concoction of vanilla and plastic. Yuk! Smells like some old toy, made of what would now be banned chemicals. Had to wash it off straight away.
katarinacza10/02/23 18:45
I remember it was a smell I adored in mid school so I got it when I saw it.
Still nice, given the price point it's pretty amazing. Very warm and vanilla, somehow cozy, leaning a bit sexy - I still wear it to the office thou.
No brainer, people pleaser and not smelling cheap or artificial. I'm not huge fan of celeb fragrances, but one has to agree that this is srsly nice stuff. I will prolly not repurchase (but who knows) it, yet it was a pleasure to have it. It somehow does not do well in very humid weather, or it's my body - still I've found it to last longer when the air is dryer.
If you are into vanilla scents - this one is a nice choice.
yumsle09/05/23 04:53
I remember it was brought to my mom from Germany and as soon as I smelled it, I knew I would want to wear this when I'm a grown up. Since then I've never seen this perfume I though it was discontinued but this summer I found this in Germany! Very creamy and comfy scent. (Also nostalgic) I'll buy it again when I'm back there.
Lela2408/21/23 23:57
I wasn’t too much a fan of this one… somehow didn’t suit me too good. Really weird blend of all notes and weird smell. I still used it and spent it but would not repurchase.
Sweetz9907/05/23 11:21
This was probably one of the first perfumes I ever smelled as a child and LOVED. To me, this was how a WOMAN smelled. I also had a soft spot for it because it was gifted to my mum by my dad, who's usually terrible at picking gifts (lol) but this was one my mom treasured.
Recently, I was going to rebuy my generic everyday perfume and just had this sudden rush of memories and nostalgia. Did a quick look up on the notes, and yep. I wear a highly simplified version of this perfume today as a grown woman.
Don't know if they still sell this, but I'd like one!
Alafi Kisieko06/06/23 20:06
Un gran perfume de celebridad de finales de los 90, es dulce sin ser empalagoso, empolvado, floral y frutal en su justo equilibrio. Una fragancia que hasta hoy en día sigue siendo muy asertiva.
zind05/13/23 02:14
This used to be my signature for so many years. I was in my twenties and I received quite a few compliments from those who came close enough to smell it. I finally bought it again, mostly because this is a comforting scent to me. It is also very versatile and easy to wear.
First response after all these years was being surprised by how sparkly, fresh and prickly-spicy the opening is! The magnolia stands out the most to me and it's surrounded by sitrus and some rather indistinguishable spice. The coconut is voted up, but I can't smell much of it to be honest.
It takes a while for that creamy, comfy scent that I remember to appear. For a perfume with so many notes it still comes a cross as a pretty simple scent. Though, that is more of a compliment than a drawback. It does in no way smell like one of todays niche creations, but it does smell beautiful. The notes meld together, like they often do in perfumes that were created way back then. I like that. I'm a bit exhausted by interesting niche scents and I enjoy wearing my good ol' Naomi Campbell again.
Try if you come across it and if you like scents like She/Lei, Oxygene or Noa.
Update: ok, so I got the coconut loud and clear the other day when I was wearing :)
GV99904/04/23 14:29
My mom has this. Powdery magnolia. Suitable for an older woman. Good performance. Not impressed. 4/10
LadyIva03/08/23 17:08
I have just repurchased Naomi Campbell EDT. I think that this one and Private are among the best celebrity fragrances ever launched, and I don't know how many bottles I've used up over the past twenty years. The original Naomi Campbell is a sweet scent designed for women who normally do not like sweet scents or gourmands. It does contain an abundance of sweet(ish) notes - peach, vanilla, caramel, tonka, coconut and whatnot - but they are masterfully blended into an airy fragrance that is never cloying or sticky-sweet. One of the reasons why this fragrance will forever be a bestseller is that men love to smell it on their women! This scent is sexy, glamourous, seductive and inviting, but not in a vulgar or intimidating way. Moreover, it is very affordable, and yet it is classier and better than many hyped-up, overpriced fragrances. Wear this and feel fabulous.
katherina.102/15/23 00:32
Considering this is a celebrity perfume, it is amazingly good. It was one of my favorites along with Emporio Armani Lei in my early twenties. I have been on a hunt for a absolute favorite this last year and I just can’t seem to find a perfume that I truly love. So recently I figured, I need to go back to my roots, or so to say😂 I went on line and ordered both this and the Emporio Armani Lei, which was kind of silly because they are so similar. Anyways, I’m happy to have it back in my collection. It’s lovely… warm, tad flower-y and sensual. Not a beast, though. To me it is very light and airy. I remember love wearing this in those hot summer nights. That’s when the projection is at it’s peak. So, totally looking forward to be wearing this in the hotter months.
sophie sanderson12/07/22 10:27
Naomi certainly knows how to make a best selling perfume all the notes all go together so well to make a really lovely perfume that's classy that's so femenine and is such a joy to wear as well as it just smells so good it should of won some awards and if it hasn't done it's not bn given the recognition that it rightly deserves put it bluntly
LadyPilot12/02/22 15:06
I've been a huge fan of this scent at least since 2006. I've also loved Emporio Armani Lei since it got released - but never found any similarity... until today. Emporio is my summer scent and Naomi is my late November scent. Two different times, two different scents. But only today did the heliotrope strike me as the stuff that I love most about these two scents and that it's quite prominent. Hence the similarity noticed by some. Especially in combination with vanilla. What can I say? They're both elegant and timeless, you just can't go wrong with these... Either EDP or EDT (DNS will do too) - it's definitely worth trying and having in your wardrobe - even if "just in case".
ViouAmara11/22/22 03:05
It has something from the clean peach of exclamation coty, but in an intimate way, and it’s really creamier. It’s a good bedtime scent, I think or something to hibernate under the blankets till the sun comes back.
emilymonroe111/20/22 03:24
This one holds a particular place in my heart. It was so warm, sweet, seductive, and mysterious that it completely transported me into another realm. Beautiful. Naomi Campbell is a lovely, well-balanced scent. NC is most certainly an autumn/winter scent for me. Not because it's too powerful for hot days, but because the chilly weather brings out its creamy, warm qualities. Both comfortable and elegant. Amazing!
miyawakiri10/08/22 08:08
absolutely amazing! you can wear this fragnance almost everywhere and anytime imo, the coconut note is more prominent for me. its very well blended. even tho im not a big fan of sweet scents, i really really liked this one.
NoorbBelgium09/12/22 04:55
Naomi Campbell exudes warmth, sweetness, sexiness, and mystery. Beautiful. This is an excellent, well-balanced scent. For me, this is an autumn and winter aroma. Not because it's too powerful for hot days, but because the chilly weather brings out its creamy, warm qualities. Present is a lot of sweetness there from caramel, vanilla, and coconut notes, and it blends with flowers and balsamic undertones to give it a sensuous, feminine, mature vibe. Silage and duration are modest, yet the smell shines brightly. Beautiful one!
annn108/29/22 02:31
Incredible quality for a celebrity fragrance and at that price point. I recently rediscovered Naomi Campbell's signature perfume after 20+ years and I'm amazed how well it stood the test of time.
Definitely a cool weather fragrance. It is cozy, creamy with lots of caramel and vanilla, but while many overly sweet, gourmand-like scents stop there, Naomi Campbell adds some unexpected surprises that really lift this one to another level. Star anis, pimento, musk and opoponax give it a spiciness and earthiness that feels sexy and grown up and definitely sets it apart from your common 'cozy sweater' fragrance. The coconut and peach, that linger in the background, add more of a boozy than a beachy feel and are a perfect addition. I'm not getting any florals but then I don't think I would want to either.
All in all a gorgeous fragrance that feels a lot more expensive and grown-up than its label and price suggest. Longevity is really good (6+ hours on my skin and several days on fabric) and sillage is fairly close to my skin, which I think is a plus in a perfume rather than a disadvantage.
Joani_Cheddar06/21/22 11:49
Sheer sweet frothy goodness. A favorable- affordable, grown n sexy perfume - sex in the city, office or an elevator type scent. A very, VERY nice ummph this smellzooo goood fragrance. This is exactly how I thought Cashmere Mist should smell - I am not a fan of Cashmere Mist but I am captivated by the Naomi Campbell fragrance. This smells as if it has cocoa in it but it does not - it does have coco (and because of that I'm shocked this was not compared to Crystal Noir. cheeeese). Someone out of the dating scene, going out with the ladies -finally- and wants to accumulate as much fun & interest in a short matter of time - she is sexy, sassy, fun and unattainable - she wears Naomi Campbell.
Enrium04/10/22 05:55
Naomi is a sweet, beachy scent, cheap and cheerful, and one of the better celebrity fragrance offerings. This is not available here in Ireland, but I smelled it on holiday as a child and remember loving it then. I bought a small bottle of EDT online recently to see how it holds up nowadays, and to my (hopefully) more refined adult nose. I wasn't disappointed. It does remind me of Emporio Armani Lei, but Naomi is sweeter, more youthful and less nuanced. While I wouldn't typically wear Naomi, it is an undeniably impressive scent, as befits the supermodel herself.
Naomi opens with sweet, fruity notes, which, along with creamy coconut, gives the impression of beach holidays. The pimiento note is an inspired addition, adding fresh spiciness, while orange blossom enhances the tropical accord beautifully.
As it develops, the white floral accord at the heart blooms, adding powdery floral sweetness. Apart from sweet rose, it is difficult to pick out individual notes, but it is wonderfully balanced and comforting, like baby powder enhanced with coconut on my skin. Softly musky and sweet, it is warm and pleasant.
As it begins to dry down, smooth vanilla comes to the fore, adding sweet warmth and creaminess. I get the caramel note, but Naomi is not a gourmand. Woody, musky notes creep in, and it fades to a warm amber-vanilla skin scent after several hours. Sillage and longevity are moderate.
Warm, beachy and tropical, it smells like lying under the sun on a hot summer's day. Sweet and feminine, youthful but not exclusively girly, Naomi is great stuff for what it is. A beachy bargain. 3/5.
nitschevo01/08/22 08:33
IMHO there is a huge difference between the EDT and EDP version (like most of the times, duh I know). However, the EDP is a bit harder to find and also pricier. Still affordable though with ca. 20 Euros for 30 ml. And boy is it a powerhouse! I recently sprayed some on while in the drugstore and it lasted well through the day and several times of hand washing and disinfection.
Naomi Campbell is really a scent of its time and I'm glad it's still around! Powdery, aromatic, vanilla with some florals and a pinch of coconut. Right out of the bottle it's a little much but don't fret - after 5 min. you're good. So much has been said on this one already that I don't feel I can contribute much more. Thus, I repeat: If you like scents like Sensi, Armani Lei etc. (the reminds me of section is very on point) definitely give this one a go. You might be in for a lovely budget surprise.
isnotarat07/01/21 05:07
Horrible. Smells entirely like alcohol! Plastic lid feels so cheap too. Avoid at all costs
Szafirowy czar04/14/21 04:51
It's one of my favourite scents of the times, I like it even more than "Pret a porter" by Naomi, perfect scent for the winter - warm thanks to its vanilla notes but not too overpowering. Love it!
amazing8304/08/21 04:19
Very well done celebrity perfume, it does not have this soapy ending. Smells like baby powder, body cream and musk. Great for fall and cardigans.
sophie sanderson02/07/21 14:42
All the notes in this perfume blend together so well it's a really lovely perfume to have a lot nicer than some celebrity scents that are out there just a shame not many people know about it
lunic09/09/20 05:15
There's a very strong, rich and sticky opening almost like molasses mixed with pepper and hairspray and then all I get is a strong hairspray.
I wish I was smelling what others were smelling!
Parfumoiselle04/14/20 02:30
It's a very feminine, well-rounded fragrance. Not too sweet, not too floral or fresh, it has a hairspray hint to it, but I don't mind that. The sad part is the sillage, it doesn't project much (which is my biggest turn off when it comes to perumes) it stays very close to the skin after about an hour. The longevity is good, 5 -6h at least, but what's the point if it's turns into a skin scent so soon?
Sanitta12/10/19 08:18
One of my favourite celebrity fragrance. The performance is decent on this one. 7/10
najgirl01/13/19 16:07
I blind bought this along with several others from the line (because I love Naomi) and I am not disappointed in the least - actually the perfumes have exceeded my expectations. This one is very nice -warm, creamy, and sexy. I'm typically not crazy about vanilla, and here it's very subtle, added in just the right proportions. All I can say is wow, I really enjoy this perfume. It's not something I would place in the "celebrity scent" category if I were to blind test the fragrance. It's not "thin", cotton candy sweet, or cheap-smelling.. I love the bottle, btw.. The juice is beautifully blended and I'm thinking I'll get another bottle as backup.
LemonCake10/14/18 07:15
I got this one as a gift, long time ago, while I was still in college. I liked it, but I felt it was too mature for me. A few weeks ago, I bumped into it in a drugstore, spritzed it and couldn't stop sniffing myself for the rest of the day - so I came back and bought it.
Naomi Campbell is a wonderful, well-rounded fragrance. I've used several of her fragrances over the years, and I love the fact that you can actually imagine Naomi smelling like any of them. This bottle reminds me of her, with its golden-ish color and skinny, tall, sleek design.
NC is definitely an autumn/winter fragrance for me. Not because it's too strong for warm days, but because I feel the cold weather accentuates its creamy, warm quality.
That being said, I know people call this a gourmand fragrance, but I wouldn't qualify it as such. Although there is significant sweetness there stemming from caramel/vanilla/coconut notes, it never smells too sweet - it mixes with florals and balsamic notes that give it very sensual, feminine, mature aura (something gourmand fragrances usually lack).
The perfume develops on me in this particular order - sweet notes, then sweetness dries down a bit and gives way to florals and tuberose, and weirdly, the drydown on me is a bit powderish. I studied the base notes and I will try and guess that this interesting scent comes from opoponax.
Although its sillage is pretty good, the longevity is my only complaint about this fragrance. It won't last more than 2-3 hours, and I've noticed that it even evaporates from clothes - so if you want to keep this wonderful scent on you, get ready for re-applying. Apart from that, there is a reason why this wonderful fragrance has been around for almost 20 years.
LadyIva05/16/18 09:22
I don’t wear gourmands myself, but I often buy them as presents for my girlfriends or young cousins and nieces who enjoy this type of scent. As far as celebrity fragrances go, Naomi Campbell’s line is one of the best, in terms of quality, longevity and value for money. Her eponymous fragrance is a relatively original gourmand, in that it doesn’t remind me of Angel, or LVEB, or any of those ubiquitous sweet scents. To me, the strongest note here is caramel-toffee, but it also smells like coffee, to be precise - capuccino! There’s also the unavoidable pairing of vanilla and tonka beans. Luckily the fruity notes are almost undetectable, which is always a good thing in my book! So, if you are in the mood for some sweet toffees and capuccino, do try this one, you won’t be disappointed! Its projection is moderate, and longevity much better than expected - around six hours.
katspa8904/07/18 09:11
I bought this in my teenage years and I still have the bottle. Or well, half of it. I don't think it really suited me well, but it is a very nice scent.
I do agree with the others writing here, that it is very complex for a celeb perfume (I find very few of those interesting), and I'd recommend it for those who are into the more "heavy" oriental smells.
Very feminine scent.
RozaMoisevna03/26/18 10:00
A friend of mine had this in early 2000s and when I tried it for the first time I thought it was just way too sexy for a teenager. It was very musky, deep, mature and sensual with a good sillage. I was surprised to see it at a local drugstore recently; the quality has decreased immensely, unfortunately...Now when I think of an alternative perfume, I would probably reach for Guerlain's L'Instant. Not that they are similar, but the "end result" is pretty close - musky and sensual.
Salakala07/14/17 00:15
This one is very special to me. We met first at 1999 when the perfume was just launched and I was 17. Got it as a sample from some magazine and fell in love at once :) It was so warm, sweet, sexy, mysterious and totally drew me into some other world. So it used to be my signature for many years back then.
I still own a bottle, i hardly wear it but i kind of feel obligated to have one on my shelf. Sometimes, just sometimes i go and have a sniff... And it instantly brings back all those memories of being so very young and going out for night. Beautiful. Maybe we should get together again? Old habbits die hard...
vattenmelon02/03/17 15:27
i liked it at the first spritz but shortly after it disappears nor a very good perfume
rihabi01/27/17 05:59
It has some spicy undertone, perhaps it's the star anise, I don't feel any coconut, but it sure has quite a lot of the tonka bean. I like it.
maya2000ro12/23/16 08:15
Another one of my blind buys.I had to give it away as a present. On me it has nothing to do with vanilla or with the sweetness. For sure it is not my fragrance.I cannot describe it. Maybe it's me but on my skin smells like a chemical superglue. It has a low longevity and It hasn't have any silage at all.A big NO for me.
socorrosouza11/23/16 11:21
I had such high hopes for Naomi Campbell perfume, but it was lousy on my skin: no projection, short-lived, what I could smell was a toned down eau de meh, so probably I am anosmic to it due to the peach and tuberose notes, even in the background as secondary notes. Lasted for 1h30 2 hours with very poor projection.

Whoa I wasn't prepared for the beautiful scent that came at me when I wore Naomi Campbell yesterday.
I found her at a rummage sale at the home of an African American friend of mine's mother's neighborhood. The perfume had only been used once and it was still good. It was selling for only 15 bucks so I said why not. My boyfriend Stephen said, "if this is going to make you smell like sexy Naomi Campbell on the runway, I'll be all over you!". And that's what happened too!
There are a lot of notes, which is rare for a celebrity fragrance, in fact it's possible that this fragrance has the most number of notes in one perfume other than the Elizabeth Taylor perfumes, but unlike EL perfumes, Naomi is more subtle and does not throw up a huge projection. In fact it's like a fine sun tan lotion as others have noted. Smells like caramel scented sun tan lotion that really does bring up the image of a caramel or chocolate colored skin.
The notes (found in the top middle and base) that most jump out at me are: citrus, coconut, orange blossom, magnolia, jasmine, tuberose, rose, heliotrope, caramel, vanilla and amber. It is almost like a Bath & Body Works fragrance with greater longevity. Most of the B&B perfumes don't last long. This is like a stronger version or more elaborate version of Tahiti Island Dream. It's also similar to Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess but this was probably out in the fragrance market first I think. This dates back to the late 90's at a time when celebrity fragrances were still an innovation.
Beautiful vanilla in the dry down, caramelized amber, warm, creamy, rich, almost like a cappuccino. I would even go as far as to call this a gourmand fragrance. It's delicious and soft, and wearable in winter time. Wrap yourself up in this coat of yumminess. It's such a beautiful and underrated fragrance. It deserves more attention and praise. I think this is very well done, very well done & unlike today's modern celeb fragrances that are nothing more than a sweet body mist.
This lasts a good 5 to 6 hours on me but perhaps this is all about personal skin chemistry. If you know your own skin can handle caramel, amber, chocolate, vanilla, and florals, this shouldn't be a problem. I would classify this fragrance as mature as well. Definitely not for an 18 year old and under girl, more of a late 20's through 30's woman.
Absolutely gorgeous!

There are many red flags in this one, if you fancy yourself a bit of a perfume afficionado... it's a celebrity fragrance with caramel, vanilla and coconut being the highest-voted notes. Then again, the nose is Ursula Wandel, creator of my signature scent.
To my nose, this certainly isn't overly sweet, it's more of a soft oriental fragrance than a gourmand. My mom used to wear Tempore Donna by Laura Biagiotti at some point in the early 2000's, and I haven't smelled it since then, but that one came up as a reference in my mind for some reason. I see now that Wandel created that one in the same year as this... something about it says Yves Rocher Yria as well, but more subdued.
This is a sensual scent, nothing suntan-lotion about it, even though it evokes warm, bronzed skin. It could be Naomi Campbell's signature for sure as she struts down the street in a leopard jumpsuit with a plunging neckline, heels and a clutch bag. Somehow, remarkably, it manages to not be tacky.
raiza199010/28/16 04:26
This smells almost identic to Private, but Private is more modern and elegant and less cloying.
Still, this one is nice if not oversprayed (sillage is strong)and the one to go if you want a more casual and comforting perfume.

IF ANYONE HAS A BOTTLE THEY WISH TO SWAP, PLS LET ME KNOW! I have been looking for a site to purchase this...i live in Canada, but the shipping charges are high!
Just drop me a msg! I am so lemming this right now!
socorrosouza09/28/16 12:08
With peach and tuberose, 2 notes iffy notes that generally spell anosmia and headache to me, it is a miracle I can smell something at all. But what I smell is boring and faint and lasts for all of 30 minutes. I blame the peach and tuberose, just don't get it.
Southern Blonde09/28/16 06:04
This is such a beautiful outstanding fragrance!
I don't understand why it hasn't received as much praise and attention from fragrance fans including the celebrity frag lovers. Naomi Campbell IS a celebrity; she's one of the world's most famous super models. Her sense of fashion led her to go beyond the runways and to the other side as a fashion designer and as a perfumer.
This is her debut fragrance which was released in 1999. At that time, I was a mature 19 year old but inexperienced with full bodied fragrances with this many notes. I was overwhelmed.
What was this enchanting perfume?
It has so many notes for a celebrity fragrance. I mean just look at them: coconut, magnolia, citrus, peach, pimento, orange blossom, heliotrope, rose, jasmine, lily of the valley, tuberose, other floral notes, caramel, amber, musk,benzoin/incense/opoponax, sandalwood and caramel. Every note is an ostentatious scent in and of itself. The whole thing turns out to be a more wearable, lightweight version of Angel by Thierry Mugler, long considered a super gourmand. This is a gourmand with a sweeter powder but it's also incense and musk/sandalwood so that it has the same Oriental and darker side that Angel had. I couldn't believe my nose when I tested it back in '99. It took a while for me to appreciate it and enjoy it. I wore it infrequently to parties.
Eventually I took up wearing it for my own pleasure at home on Sunday mornings. My Marine boyfriend at the time loved this scent. It's beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I'm so happy to learn that it's still out there somewhere and that it can be purchased and brought home.
The first spritz of this eau de parfum is a mandarin orange and bergamot and orange blossom, fruity, citrusy, with a sweet peach as well. Then there's a coconut although it's not heavy and seems to be creamy and milky, even watery. The freshness of the citrus and the fruity peach-coconut also give it a bit of a shampoo scent but it's not a bad thing. Smells delicious. It also smells like a fruit beverage or fruit flavored cocktail. The first floral note to caress my nose is the magnolia. For me this is very much a white floral fragrance. The magnolia is white and creamy, buttery, and then it turns into an equally creamy tuberose. There's also a jasmine. They are sweet flowers but not yet powdery, still in the shampoo area.
A while later the heliotrope emerges and it's definitely powder. So is the rose. This is not a rose perfume as much as it is a powdery heliotrope almost like the heliotrope in L'Heure Bleue by Guerlain and or Oscar de La Renta's Esprit D'Oscar. But this is far more fruitier. The sweetness is counterbalanced with deeper darker and spicier scents. There is a pimento and pepper scent, not too spicy like chili but it's spicy enough. It's also spiced up with anise. I found it very unusual to have pimento in this scent as most spices in gourmand scents include ginger honey or cardamom, never pimento! At one point the florals do become spicy-florals and the powder disappears.
The base notes is an embarrassment of riches. There's musk, sandalwood, amber, vanilla, cedar woods, and incense. The incense is in the form of opoponax. As a result the last part of the fragrance is not as fresh as the beginning, and it's warmer, duskier, and creamier. It starts to smell somewhat like a chocolate but it's decidedly a caramel. This is a gorgeous caramel or caramelized amber. The caramel is definitely reminiscent of Angel. But this is much more enjoyable and with sweet vanilla that has a bit of a burnt quality like the vanilla in Shalimar. I would not call this Shalimar by any means but it has a dessert and gourmand vanilla with some depth. This is a beautiful vanilla and caramel. It's so delicious. It's almost like coffee with caramel and vanilla flavors. I think the last part of the performance of this perfume is a fragrant scented description of Naomi Campbell's skin. The dry down in this fragrance is so Naomi.
It starts to smell like a dark bronze or very dark brown/black skin scent, like applying a sun tan lotion. It's not as tropical as Bronze Goddess by Estee Lauder, because it really does have that sweet caramel and vanilla along with the spicy-powdery florals. But it is feminine, unisex, warm, and dusky. It's an evening cologne to wear to formal events and parties at night. It has an elegance and yet it's festive and playful. It can be worn by both guys and gals. It's got feminine and masculine touches. The feminine florals and powder, the vanilla, the caramel, and the more aggressive/manly notes of musk, incense.
I love this fragrance so much! I can't stop smelling myself and will be honored to wear it many times. I think it's very appropriate for Christmas parties and in fact it smells better in colder weather because of the warm notes of caramel, amber and musk.
Please buy this perfume!!!
dyaver09/28/16 01:43
First time I smelled this fragrance about 10 years ago. It was my cousin's signature and it got me hypnotized immediately! I bought the perfume for myself maybe a year later. I couldn't stop smelling it on my skin and clothes, it was such a comforting, warm and seductive scent dominated by vanilla and caramel. I didn't repurchase it for some reason, I think it might have been too sweet for everyday use. However I kept the bottle and would smell it long after it was finished :) Longevity was great, more than 6 hrs on skin, on clothes even days.
rosewithorns05/28/16 08:13
When I first spray it on, the first note that reaches my nose is the heliotrope. Then I notice the vanilla, caramel, sandalwood, and tonka bean. They're nicely blended together. Several minutes later, the peach and coconut come to the forefront. The fragrance softens as it dries down. It is a shame I can't smell but a trace of the star anise. Nonetheless, Naomi Campbell's signature perfume is delectable. It is not, however, a gourmand scent. Because of its notes, I expected to be a warmer and cozy scent. There is something steely about it that prevents it from becoming so, rather fitting for the fragrance of an ice queen. It is soft, but certainly has a presence and does not get worn without compliments. It lasts long on my skin. I adore this fragrance. I find it very sexy in a subtle way - sexy without trying too hard, and who doesn't like that?
Floffles05/02/16 18:36
Smells okay, but I just can't get past her bottle design. It looks like a vibrator. I just can't.....
shushkin03/26/16 06:45
For starters Im not usually one for Celeb fragrances but the list of notes piqued my interest. Its one of my favourite celeb fragrances. Id call it a slightly spicey woody gourmand. Yes, there is some coconutty sweetness but not too much. Its not weak but perfect so easy to wear anywhere. I get the vanilla, peach, tonka and sandalwood which combine to create a nice sophisticated scent. Sandalwood, musk (particularly the musk!) and oppopanax definitely come into their own after an hour or two. I get little sillage and moderate longevity.
Gigi The Fashionista03/13/16 19:55
Super Model Naomi Campbell's debut fragrance is a beautiful caramelized gourmand floral scent. It's a bit unfair that it never received much publicity. I remember wearing this back in 2001 and no one wore it but me. When I wear this fragrance I think of myself as Naomi on the runways in fashion shows. This scent is in the same fragrance family in perfumes like Classique by Gaultier. So if you like Classique you'll love this one. There is something very New York City Manhattan about it too. It opens with a floral fruitiness. Magnolia blooms out of the bottle and it's paired with some citrus some orange blossome some coconut and some peach. The whole thing turns into a lovely shampoo smell but I don't mind it at all. The scent descends into it's heart which is mainly floral. There is rose, tuberose, heliotrope, jasmine and lily of the valley. On me the heliotrope and tuberose became very pronounced. It smells expensive and mature like a beautiful over 40 cougar still in the dating game. Of course that doesn't mean that this fragrance is for mature audiences only. While it is devoid of the sugary cheapness of other celebrity perfumes, it still feels like a young 18 to 25 year old can wear it because it is very gourmand and sweet. It's got a creamy caramel, some vanilla which lingers for a while as the fragrance begins to dry. The scent then becomes stronger and stronger as it begins to disappear with a warm, hot sexy incense type of note courtesy of its oppopanax and musk. Furthermore there is benzoin which is also a type of incense. This smells so elegant, so luxurious, so beautiful that I smell this and wonder what's wrong with me. I have such a gorgeous fragrance and I wear it then I still want to wear other ones. If you had to pick only one celebrity fragrance to wear I would put this first in the list. This one really does blow all the others away. It is also rather subtle and soft and quickly turns into your skin but better kind of scent. No one can smell this ion me but me and someone close enough to my neck. Naomi Campbell is beautiful, smart, successful, she has been both a model and designer so she has been on both side of the business and she should continue to produce fragrances because to me they are more sophisticated and more engaging than Paris Hilton's perufmes which she churns out every year and they all end up smelling generic. This one is a really really really beautiful perfume. Go and get it while you can ladies.
eu4ia02/12/16 12:13
My thoughts are pretty much the same as Jillmcshaw1's when it comes to this perfume. This perfume, according to my nose, contains quite some musk and an almost salty caramel. It indeed is not your average sweet caramel and vanilla infused perfume, which I thought it would be. So if you by any chance are like me, please try this one out before you buy it! I blind bought it, and I've been stuck with it for a while now. I've been using it before bed because it's still a warm perfume, it has something, like, cozy-ish to it. Nonetheless an interesting, relatively strong and special perfume so I definitely do see why people would love this perfume.
pongo02/10/16 15:30
Naomi Campbell “The top notes bring a fruity-floral cocktail, sweet, fresh and exotic” – yes I agree with all that although I can’t pin down any one ingredient over another, I just know I love it and it is my signature fragrance for summer or spring time.
I don’t think my nose is very sophisticated but I know what I like and this is it.
It’s a sexy elegant fragrance.
Love the base notes.
Very grown up and way better than I was expecting from a celebrity perfume.
Love the bottle too, highly suggestive!!
neko_pari01/30/16 02:24
Had a little sample of it for some time already. Today I decided to give a try. Smell is kinda annoyingly sweet but afer some time it gets more and more powdery. I don't think I would buy full size bottle.
peferrarine03/27/15 08:42
This one reminds me of something that i can't quite put my finger on it. Also, there's so many notes that i can't get them separably.
First of all: sweetness. Not a cloying sugary one, but sweetness nonetheless. A spicy sweetness. The Pimento in this one gives me the same feeling that Crave (CK) - is important to note that they are not alike in any way, but the pepper mist that surrounds one, reminds me of the other one.
The caramel is VERY FAINT, nothing like Viva La Juicy, or Pink Friday or even Candy. Here, the caramel is very tamed, used to make you wanna sniff closer.
To me, a day and night kind of fragrance. Nothing groundbreaking or special, but not totally ordinary either.
Sillage is good for the first hour and a half, then becomes a nice vanilla skin scent.
UPDATE: the spicy feeling is now getting in my nose real bad, so i have to spray from a distance, and not as much as i do with other fragrances. That one is a crowd pleaser with my friends and family, but gives me headache if i spray too much.
jenniewebb02/24/15 05:29
I'm not sure about this one because of the strange combination of citrus/bergamot opening and gourmand mid and base notes. After the citrus notes fade I detect non-sweet vanilla and caramel over generic floral, with just a tiny hint of bug spray. It is a pleasant perfume, but I can't decide if I like it or not. I don't find it particularly strong, so you need apply with a slightly heavy hand. At least it is NOT like most of the celebrity fragrances released in recent times.
MartaL02/18/15 06:32
It was my first fragrance ever. I bought it because of Naomi Campbell. I wore it only by night and it was my going out perfume. Probably a way too heavy for a teenage girl. No good memories. No re-purchase.
Dimma01/28/15 15:22
Warm, spicy caramel wrapped in white, resin-powdered flower petals. Yum!
I adore this scent and find it far more grown-up and sophisticated than I expected. I will definitely need a second bottle of this scrumptious juice :)
almondcookie12/30/14 23:03
I am wearing this perfume at the moment and I am loving every bit of it. It is the right kind of sweet. it's not overpowering, yet it lasts. I'm actually considering on purchasing another bottle.
mushkbar10/20/14 01:56
This frag is absolutely amazing. It was my signature scent untill my sis broke the sprayer and all my bottle evaporated.bad mistake, never share your fave bottle with the sis, learnt my lesson, lol. This is such a gorgeous fragrance,no sickly sweet candies here and its really hard to explain how beautiful and intelligent composition this perfume is.My bottle said made in Germany, have no idea where they are making it.Pretty, feminine, sassy but sophistication is the proper word for this frag.I am in love. Will be buying a new bottle soon.Totally recommended.
raw umber10/14/14 17:50
Naomi Campbell is a creamy musky beachy skin scent with a hint of sweetness. I get a little clean jasmine and a moist quality which reminds me of kissing someone who has just been drinking cold milk. There is also a richness to the musk/coconut that makes it a little nutty and buttery. It feels like it's about to turn salty but never actually gets there. MMM... smells so comforting and makes me want to nuzzle the back of my hand where I applied it.
The thing I really enjoy about NC is that it never gets into full on gourmand sweetness territory. The musk and florals are in total harmony with any of the potentially sugary components.. Sillage is low and longevity is not great but that's aight. I wish I owned a big fat bottle of this one (or a tall vaginal insert shaped bottle would be fine too, I guess). Thanks to 2746cstreet for my generous decant.
ellina198410/01/14 21:28
The top is very tropical, with a suntan lotion vibe, and I smell coconut, and a bitter cirusy note.
Then the tropicality (is there such a word?) fades and there's florals I cannot exactly place,a touch of spice, sweet and naughty, sandalwood, vanilla, and a salted caramel sauce with lots of cream. I get a coffee note every once in a while, but if I sniff trying to discern it, I can't seem to be able to. It's a sweet coffee, mind you, with milk.
From time to time this scent reminds me of the smell I get in pastry shops, or my own kitchen when I have a cake in the oven, and cookies in the make, and the whole house is filled with intoxicating bakery fumes.
The drydown is very feminine, all florals dipped in caramel, with a vanilla pod swimming in there. After many hours into the drydown, I get more pronounced crushed coffee beans into the melee.
(I'm sorry, I had previously posted this in Naomi Campbelle's Naomi page, then realized I had made a mistake.)
All in all, this may not be grounbreaking, but it's not a wallflower either. It is a "floral gourmand" mostly, and is a far relative of Flowerbomb. In my opinion, it can hold its own in this world inundated with cloyingly sweet fragrances.
dipisor07/02/14 07:26
Sweet, powdery, sexy scent...delicious for a man's nose...;)
ScarlettX06/22/14 05:58
Hmm, this is a nice warm scent. I don't find anything interesting in many celebrity perfumes, but Naomi Campbell's perfumes always surpise me.
It's sweet, kind of classy and very grown up.
There's coconut, vanilla, caramel, some fruity notes and floral notes.
Elegant one compared to many other celebrity scents.
Lidell08/31/13 00:38
Naomi Campbell nicely balances between a sultry -excuse me- cheap whore gourmand and an elegantly powdery, decently feminine balm.
One of my 'still a keeper, but for a different reason' childhood scents.
This puts an emphasis on my heels and lipstick, altogether reminds me of being a woman (yes, it's very much of a thing for a genderqueer soul :)).
Kara71208/24/13 07:57
I like this one too. Tried it on a piece of paper in a store, I don't know how it would feel on my skin but liked it a lot. I noticed that it has an EDP and an EDT version. Also, it has a deodorant spray version of 75 ml. So if the sillage doesn't satisfy you, you can refresh it with the deodorant spray from time to time, maybe keep it in a little drawer at work ^_^
A sweet scent from what I felt, really nice and cute.
I found this sweet, not really floral, but, as I said, I tried on a piece of paper, not on my skin. Maybe it blends into a floral scent on the skin but I wouldn't know.
I think it can be used in daytime but with precaution, don't put a lot on.
The bottle is sooo whateverish. Nothing special. But I don't care a lot about that so... :)
odisse08/22/13 06:45
This scent has a note that I just can't stand. I so wanted to like this but I can't get through that sticky note :(
Emilia8808/20/13 02:11
I am surprised that this scent doesn't have more "I love it"s.
It smells way mote luxurious than most celebrity scents. I probably would never have guessed that it is a celebrity scent had I not known that it is.
It's not sickly sweet like Britney and Paris' fumes, although it has some sweetness to it.
I get a lotion-y black pepper, sugary vibe from this one. It smells like a high end body lotion, but stronger. It opens up quite peppery and citrusy sweet, and then mellows down to a lovely balmy sweet pink pepper. On my skin, at least. I also get some sort of yellow floral, and the tonka bean is very prominent the first hour after application.
It has better staying power than some of my high end perfumes.
Will have to repurchase this as my purse sized bottle is almost empty.
I think this works both as a day and evening scent, but I would want something "darker" for fall and winter. Although i suspect many women would consider this one too heavy for spring/summer.
I get absolutely NO coconut at all, but I'm completely fine with that. :)
Mici291208/01/13 12:33
Beautiful,long-lasting,feminine to me more winter fragrance.Smells like vanilla, caramel and coconut, all my favourite scents :) I love it!
love4507/03/13 09:04
Oh man! This perfume has everything I love in a perfume! Caramel, coconut, Tonka bean, vanilla, amber...I think I will get a sample of it first before I buy as opposed to blind buy! Sometime all these notes combined could go left but it sure looks yummy! :)
HLVTCA0906/07/13 04:47
This was the "popular girl"-scent in highschool :P smelling it now it is a very nice, warm, summer-skin scent. a more feminine version of armani lei in my opinion
2746cstreet05/17/13 14:17
Much less gourmand I expected. There is certainly vanilla, tonka, star anise, coconut and other such "edible" scents in here but there's also a good dose of nasty musk. Thank you, Naomi Campbell for putting some stank on it.
So yes, nasty musk. Fantastic! Also some warm, soft star anise, powdery tonka & opoponax, creamy coconut, heliotrope, orange blossom and a very slight mandarin note to keep it from veering too heavy.
Love it.
mihaela0105/11/13 04:37
Nice and inofensive on me,maybe to light...I expected something stronger.Casual, for every day and elegant,I don t regret it just not what I expected.
Nico Rain04/23/13 04:04
It reminded me of freshly baked cookies or something really delicious. I really love that it's not too agressive.
It was my favourite perfume this winter, for summer I prefer something with a more fresh scent.
liiva01/20/13 12:13
So sweet, exotic, warm! To remind of sun, suntan, tasty cocktails and soft caress. Very good longevity. Perfect for summer nights and every moment when you want to feel sexy. Very yummy scent! Something very special for coconut and sweets lovers.
busik01/02/13 08:39
I thought that from reviews will be saturated, richer, and there is a tenderness! Sister-twin Avon Treselle. Cute, very cute smell. Resistance is rather weak, a couple of hours and all.
juri cela12/11/12 08:06
I want to smell this perfume all the time, even before I sleep. ^.^
Nefelisparkles12/02/12 12:33
Got it a few days ago.Blind buy. It's not what I expected but I love it anyway. It's sweet but not overly, and also very powdery to my surprise as I hadn't read anything about it. I get peach and a little bit of caramel with some musk too. It does last long indeed but the sillage is not that good. Others can smell it when I move my hands or go by but not like other sillage bombs. It also reminds me of something very familiar from the past but can't remember what. Classy, sexy, feminine scent. Winner for everyday use for sure!
darlingdraven07/30/12 20:29
This is a delicious caramel perfume. To me it smelled very similar to the discontinued Shea Cashmere fragrance from True Blue Spa/Bath & Body Works. The only downside to this perfume was its lasting power; 3 hrs.
le-disko05/13/12 07:15
to me this smells similar to dior hypnotic poison. very powdery but no coconut nor vanilla. it doesnt suit me so im happy to swap it with someone who really appreciates this.
Aussie swaps only. PM me :)
MissLola05/13/12 06:57
On me, all coconut and caramel, nothing more.I like it. Oh, what about the bottle, hahaha yeah, i really do think the look of a vibrator :D
purepoison04/20/12 03:49
this is a real compliment collector. first day or two of using it you may think it's too sweet and then it will become very pleasent, like a chocolate cookie:) but don't think this is a girly smell, it's very sophisticated and elegant, also very inviting to men;)
pourfemme03/18/12 11:04
It is too heavy and after 3 mins there is no chocolate or vanilla. I find it a little masculine and I have wamble (stomach upset) and headache. The worse parfume I have ever try. May be because of my skin chemical but it makes me sick badly.
lisa.m.kasper03/16/12 17:21
Flowery. Powdery. Soft soapy. "Perfumey" Not sweet. Not fresh.
No caramel. No fruit. No Vanilla. No Coconut.
hmm. Not my favorite. Would probably give this one away. Was hoping for a sweeter, more tropical and caramel type thing... That's why I bought it... And if I was looking for flowery, powdery, soft soapy... this wouldn't be it. Glad I bought the small bottle. Not loving the Dildo shape either. Again, glad I bought the smaller one!
Blind buys are like that sometimes.
pomdgf02/05/12 18:23
First time that I sniff this model fragrance is about sex! really. Revealation, perceive, sexy, seduction, tenderness and sweetness. Bare skin on satin sheet with your lover. In the world of celebrities perfume this one is most surprisingly for me. And of course nightime is prefer. I crazy coconut, caramel and tonka bean. All of these melt me down. If this perfume can say something it should be Bit me and I wanna get bit. Ha ha.
chemmart01/18/12 22:07
i had this when i was about 17. so when i saw it available to order at work, selfishly i got in for "for the shop" so i could smell it again.
well, over 10 years later and i fell in love with it all over again at first sniff!
so creamy and walm. i feel id want to wear this one rugged up in scarves and jackets for winter.
i am definitely going to buy.

First time in an emporium, the lady gave me this to smell! LOOOVELY!! The coconut gets me everytime! :D (I live at the coast ) Ps: shape of the bottle is a finger with the nail painted chocolate. A courtesan lounging with her nails jst done! IMO

Wonderful surprise from Naomi. I started using this fragrance again after about 8 years I think ...first time i smelled it I was 20 ish years old and i liked it back then but now......I like it even more! i love it and I think the older I am the more I appreciate perfumes. this has become my favourite recently it is so feminine, soft, powdery and sexy . i love the coconut note in it . romantic and beautiful <3
vallin10/31/11 09:29
sensetive feminine perfume, i think naomi is best of all star-perfumers. one i cant understand - what inspired them to make such bottle shape. veeeeery weird.
Cams10/27/11 11:51
what wonderful surprise for me and I like that! Who says only Chanel, Dior and Givenchy can make beautiful fragrances! This one is lovely, longlasting and ultra feminine. I wore it last night and still smell it on me ( and my clothes) well past noon the next day. Strongly recommended for those who like sensual and long lasting florals. I'm off to get me another bottle!!
Amarilla09/30/11 07:44
I first got it when I was about 16, as a Christmas/B'day present - cannot remember clearly but I do remember that I loved it from the first spray.
Never will stop using it.
Sensual, warm, not too sweet just right. Very well blended and far one of the bests among the huge offer of celeb frags.
Great perfume indeed in a bizarre bottle :)
ZeleniNetopir08/31/11 14:42
If there are ladykiller parfumes, this one is definitely a mankiller :) Gentle and sexy! To wear on a date or night in a club.
Vamy6908/04/11 15:00
Love this one. Smells delicious!

This reminds me a little of magnetism by Escada it has the same strong caramel smell. I love it. I only got it because it was the first time I had seen it in a store it is hard to get in Australia. Also the reviews were very good. I am glad I got it I love it. It doesn't last long on me so I have to keep spraying it. The bottle is ugly I wish she hadn't agreed to that shape but very nice perfume I just wish I could try some of her others but we don't have them here.
LaUna07/12/11 19:00
smells sooooooo good ! warm n' soft; definitely sense coconut, anise and floral presence, and it gets better with time. Best blind buy so far:)
saramariah07/12/11 05:50
This is not a gourmand or a floral its both in a perfect and really lovely combination🥰 So fresh and delicious! Clean, sophisticated and warm. Such a sensual perfume, discret but warm and seductive, lasts a loong time and never becomes boring. yummmm one of my absolute favourite perfumes!
Hyponse07/06/11 12:17
Smells like Armani`s lei/she on my skin. Vanilla, creamy, soft, sexy.
Edieeddy05/14/11 03:02
i like this one. although this perfume, is not one of my favourite. This perfume smells like luxury. <3
TankGirl03/31/11 02:25
Naomi opens with a fresh and sexy vibe on my skin and then develops to a candy like scent with a powdery twist that I like, very wearable, I guess it suits cold days but also spring, Im afraid thats too sweet and warm for a hot summer, but its a very calm and esay going scent for all ages, reminds me a little bit of something that I cant remember!!!!!
adrienn9903/03/11 05:12
this one is a medium-weight perfume in the sense that it is neither strong (overwhelming) nor very light (watery).
on me it smells like peaches with powder. It doesn't smell like juicy peaches like peaches in many perfumes but as if these were kept in a powder-box which is covered up. Guess the heliotrope is again what is behind the powder business.
I don't get articulated flowers/spice/woody notes, this perfume goes quite linear and blended all the way.
Thank god, this one lacks the artifical aura most designer/celebrity fragrances own.
Quite a safe side perfume (feminine but would not say it is a dating/clubbing frag), likeable but not hard to forget either.
Allinug02/23/11 06:01
I bought this for my daughter and she likes it. I wanted to try it so I did. First I felt a very nice sweet smell and then a little mix with flowers, still very nice. Now it's a sticky sweet smelling - don't like it at all.
hiraeth01/07/11 13:06
I tried it yesterday in a shop - and was so pleasently surprised that I'm thinking of buying it on Monday, as soon as the shops open after the holidays... It is so warm and romantic, perfect for romantic cold winter evenings. Very rich fragrance....
bolla290911/26/10 17:06
This is a typical "warm" fragrance, I used to have it but gave it to my girlfriend, 'cause it didn't suit me at all.. I understand why a lot of women like it, its's soft, warm and very feminin, a bit different. I like it too.. but on others, it really doesn't complement my skin, but I sniffed my girlfriend I gave it to alot, it was lovely on her :)
LittleFlower09/07/10 11:48
i would sort it in oriental fragrances.too powdery to be floral.and yes its very feminine elegant fragrance.for wild women
sharyssa07/27/10 10:31
Very gorgeous scent.I really think this has to be my favorite. It is soft but noticable sweet powdery creamy and just gorgeous.I give this a perfect 10.Lasts too! Best of all celebrity scents and that is hard for me to say because I love me some M by Mariah Carey and Fancy Love by J.S. Naomi dear I don't like you at all but your fragrance is nice!!!!!!!!
Diana Cucu04/20/10 23:25
tried it yesterday and it is very heavy to me; kind of a burnt caramel and a coffee smell; it's not bad but definetly not my style;
caroline03/11/10 12:29
I found a bottle of this perfume on a night out right on the dancefloor! Someone lost it and i found it! Now I only have the bodylotion but never use it but it's an ok scent!
Mad-Lainey02/24/10 14:35
The first time I have tried that fragrance was 9 years back. It was a perfumed deodorant and I can remeber I liked it instantly.
Perfumed deodorant is much gentler than edt and it felt really refreshing and subtle. To my surprise the deo had a great staying power. After spending time on the beach and taking a quick cold shower, it felt brilliant when sprayed over the sun tanned, hot skin. The subtle notes along my body chemistry created such a wonderful mixture of happiness, freshness, I felt really sexy.
My partner couldn't take his 'nose' off me.
I promised myself i would get edt one day...It's been years and just recently I got myself a proper sized edt and guess what? Nothing changed :-)
I feared that the perfume will no longer suit my changeable taste but when I sprayed it and closed my eyes, the memories came back :-)
Subtle rose and magnolia with a hint of coconut brought the memories of my first sweet kiss at sunset...The vanilla and caramel note was a cherry on the top of that cake...NC made me feel nostalgic...
It is a romantic fragrance that I love...It is one of these universal perfumes perfect for the shopping day with a best friend, as well as a hard working day at the office :-)
It has gentle, yet 'visible' silage and staying power is certainly the best of all Naomi's fragrances...
Quality definitely outweights the cost!
For some reason I feel that it is much gentler substitute to Alchimie (which I only wear when I am dating my husband, yes, even after years of marriage we can still date our partners!), but hey...what do I know :-)
I recommend to Alchimie lovers...just give it a try and don't be put off by ridiculously low price as it is one of those fragrances that do not cost a fortune and do not smell cheap at all!
NC is a genuine exception to the rule that price should reflect the perfume quality :-)
kristina_vili01/22/10 05:34
Its too hard parfum for me,I love strong scents, but this one....No,no and No
rithacha12/23/09 19:57
What a find! Relatively unheard of, cheap, and (most importantly) delicious. Mmm Naomi Campbell opens with bright and harsh pepper tempered by fruity notes. The pimento is really invigorating and inexpected! Even as the fruity notes and caramel takes over, the pimento sticks around. It drives me crazy (in a good way)!
I don't get too much floral, so the classification is a little confusing. It definitely is quite a bit oriental, especially throughout the golden base. I totally agree with all the reviewers below! The base is LUXURIOUS. Imagine vanilla, tonka bean, caramel cream melting into a cream. Ambery with ample benzoin and little bursts of pimento like celebratory fireworks. Rich, like rubbing shea butter into your skin.
Naomi Campbell lasts 4-5 hours on my skin and, although the projection is pretty good for the first 15 mintues), stays fairly close to the skin.
I wear this at home during cold days. Sometimes I hear it whispering, "You're such a diva."
flowers_are_evil11/29/09 15:59
great fragrance for going out - it stays on for hours and base notes are so beautiful and sexy!
Cherub57310/17/09 23:23
I agree that this smells classic, not trendy. I can imagine it being sexy in an elegant way, on the right person. For me, it is a nighttime, cold weather scent- not overly spicy, just warm (I think I would find it cloying in hot weather). It doesn't have any particularly dominating notes to my nose. It's kind of a warm, powdery skin scent. It is in between a light and heavy scent imo, I have a hard time smelling it on my arm after about 4 hrs, but I still catch whiffs of it from my hair after 6.
The bottle does look rather strange, but it fits into the hand nicely and has a nice weight and missile-like shape should you ever feel the need to throw something at someone.
*sophi*10/16/09 00:37
It is a wonderful scent.Flowery-powdery-woody.I like
coconut, tuberose ,magnolia, rose and sweet vanilla-caramel base in it.It is sweet but not very because of the peppery opening.Modern but not girlish, and classy.Find it nice for all-season and day or night .Worth of a try.
morgataria10/06/09 00:17
don´t like the bottle, but who cares because this scent is wonderful! It´s also so long lasting!I can smell this perfume on my body up to 24hours!Usually I don´t find celbrity scents to be interesting or good smelling but this one is absolutely an exception:)
Madhavi07/23/09 11:05
I love this Parfume its soft and sweet fragrance for me like sweet and sexygirl ;)
perfume-intense07/11/09 18:12
For me this one is not strong enough. Definitely very feminine, but short lasting. Would work better if being mixed with other perfumes just to add some personality!
ruxxy06/14/09 14:55
The pimento note is extremely potent for the first 2 hours or so, and combined with star anise and flowers,I get a powdery and spicy smell, not overly sweet, with unbelievable sillage. Unfortunately, my head ache was just as unbelievably strong.
But I resisted with it on my wrist for about 4 hours, enough to notice that the top is there for at least one hour. The flowers in the heart soften it up, but just a bit, as it remains sexy, exotic, overpowering, not chemical, for a bold, modern woman.
And then I took a long bath.
Now, 12 hours after that single spray on my wrist, I can smell a beautiful warm base as if it were an individual perfume, with benzoin, caramel, cedar and musk. And this is the best part of this fragrance, as I don't really care for the irritating pimento; I must admit that it's the first base I ever got to smell so clearly in a fragrance, others disappeared just before it.
"Naomi Campbell" perfume gained my respect for being unlike anything I've smelled before, for such LASTING power and for its mathematical structure of a perfect pyramid. On the right person(who would appreciate its actual peppery smell more than me), this one could be considered a masterpiece!
EvelynDFrech05/09/09 02:16
This fragrance caught me somehow. It's not me at all and I don't care about the concept- signature and bottle. But still it's interesting. A bit sharp at first, then warm and coconuty, then floral, then coconuty, you sink down through it.
Girly T-Rex04/16/09 02:56
I can't believe I haven't reviewed this perfume yet as it is one of my all-time faves. This fragrance smells like an expensive high end perfume, even though it's very reasonably priced. It just makes me feel so refreshed when i wear it- sort of like an ahhhhh feeling, you know? To me, this is the "Ultimate" feminine girly perfume...nothing nauseating or synthetic about it. Good job Naomi!
XoXoL.o.V.e01/19/09 14:51
I like this one is very sexy and warm, the coconut dominates the scent,a total classic.:)
Surreal11/02/08 08:05
This one is great. She is the only celeb I think is worth buying her fragraces. Not one moment it smells cheap.
Malegria10/18/08 11:00
Sensual and tempting, bold and provocative - AND a liquid sex in a bottle. It has enough bitterness for my taste.I was thinking of coming back to it, but since I have Flowerbomb, which I find very similar, I`ll wait. I like the price too - it feels expensive and has a great, rich base.
Judit09/20/08 02:57
It's a perfect one! I have used it for 3 years, and it is still not boring... so special.
rebella06/16/08 23:37
Very soft, gentle and feminine. A fragrance I am sure that men likes on women. Sensual and caressing, it makes me think of satin and warm vind. Everything is well mixed together and it isn´t that sweet. A nice, casual perfume, but a little to easy for me that likes perfumes with a little edge or bite in it...
elena1m06/15/08 19:03
I love this fragrance. I am tired of overly sweet fruitty fragrances, and this is furitty and not too sweet. It is very sexy and elegant. I love the base notes in this.

Madrona10/31/16 14:40
Somehow, remarkably, it manages to not be tacky.
lunic09/09/20 05:15
There's a very strong, rich and sticky opening almost like molasses mixed with pepper and hairspray and then all I get is a strong hairspray.
I wish I was smelling what others were smelling!

sensetive feminine perfume, i think naomi is best of all star-perfumers. one i cant understand - what inspired them to make such bottle shape. veeeeery weird.
odisse08/22/13 06:45
This scent has a note that I just can't stand. I so wanted to like this but I can't get through that sticky note :(
